I think so, definitely for the black one at least.

Yes it is, there isn't an old one in that white design. Also the description mentioned bluetooth, which wasn't available on the old ones.

The Amazon link also has the blue one at the same price. Not sure about the colour myself...

So how much of a discount is this, £39.99 still seems quite a lot? I do need to pick up a second controller but I was hoping they would be cheaper than this in the sales.

They might be at black Friday but these controllers have been £50+ since release for the most part

Ok thanks. I will pop into Game Store at lunch time see if they are matching this deal in-store along with the Gears of War 4 for £29.99 deal.

Doubt it, they are not doing the gears deal, or at least yesterday they did not

You can check stock and price of your local online. Looks like they are £50 in store
On facebook, they are saying it's online only

Does anyone know why theses controllers are so pricey? The old X360 ones never used to be that expensive...

Just been instore. They now have Gears of War 4 instore for £29.99 but the controllers are still £49.99. However since I actually bought a console last week the manager was nice and did me the £10 off controllers when boiught with a console deal retrospectivley so got one for £39.99 anyway.

Yes provided you have a PC with Bluetooth 4 receiver. Also only compatible with windows 10 as far as I know.

Excuse my ignorance, being new to this gaming malarkey, but what is the advantages of having the Bluetooth in the controller? Recently bought a Xbox One for my daughter's birthday and need to get another controller and she keeps nicking mine

Yes surely they have to be because the original Xbox One consoles foolishly did not support bluetooth whereas the Xbox One S does. These controllers probably work on both but only work on bluetooth for the Xbox One S.

Has anyone had quidco track at 11%?
Says 11% is for software, but this is hardware which would only be 1% it seems?
Thanks

The Grainger Games deal at £39.99 with no Cashback looks like a better deal without Cashback IMO. It's for the gears controllers which I would value at more than £3-4 than a standard controller.
