Ordered and added Gears of War 4 for £20. Cracking deal, have some heat! :smile:

Yeh I just couldn't hold off, I went all out on it for £280 with controller and gears. Could get around £80+ for the games so it will be much more then worth it under £200 for the console. Especially since I sold my old Xbox one for £150 and also kept the Kinect for this one.

turns out the COD comes with a season pass. unsure if its supposed to or an error.

oh man i cant decide!! if i should go for it or if i should wait for black friday!!!

Anything and everything you buy can break, for a start your running electric to it, there's various other components that could fail well before the hard drive.

There's always the sales of goods act as well?

also, warranty is from the moment u go online and make a profile. not from day of purchase.so you can leave it till xmas and thats when the warranty will start

as for MS support. its quite good. i dropped and damaged my controller and they swapped it. dhl from germany but very good CS

A PS4 that dosent even have a 4K in built Blue Ray Player ?

Xbox One S is the cheapest 4K Blue Ray Player on the Market. Thats without the gaming aspect and HDR for the newest 4K TV.

Sony is being mullered by Microsoft X Box One sales globally.Even their hyped up PS4 Pro is not all that, its a downgrade with ports missing. Sony need to shoot those responsible for handing the initiative to Microsoft with their short-sightedness,people are running out buying cheap 4K Tvs. needing a 4K Player.What better option than the Xbox One S, its great value.

If you are 12 years old and sit in the bedroom around the clock gaming never watching movies,a PS4 is for you.That seems to be Sony market right now.If you are a mature adult who games a few evenings a week,watches 4K movies with the family,then X Box One is a no brainer.

However is it me or are you peeps forgetting ONE little detail ...

After ONE year when your warranty expires, if the internal hard drive fails then good luck fixing;
1. Microsoft will charge you for fixing the faulty hard drive.
or
2. Open up console and fix it yourself (jump through various hoops to get replacement hard drive formatted correctly). That is if it can be done.

I think anything that has moving mechanical part needs to be open for upgrade/remove/replace (without voiding product) so it's repairable by us customers if needed.

Now let me break this down...
1. Where here to save money
2. So why invest in a product that has a moving mechanical part restricted from being removed?

Surely it's better to opt for the PS4?
Changing internal hard drive on PS4/PS4 Pro does not VOID warranty. So if the internal hard drive fails it's easy to replace.

With the PS4 your getting your monies worth!

Am I missing something here, because km sure when these were released people were getting them around the 150 mark with vouchers etc? Am I best just waiting for black Friday? It's for the kids , so not really bothered about games offered, as they're usually adult games in the bundles.

Is black friday worth holding off? How has it been in previous years for a new console? I don't think I've ever looked for black friday sales in uk before. Ive sold my old xbox so i really need a new xbox s. Just wondering if i should go for this offer of £260 and sell Gears4 and COD for about £60, which will take console price down to £200! Is that the best deal out at the moment? or is Black friday sales going to beat that as well?

Also, im assuming the fifa17 code is not locked to the new xbox purchase and you can sell that as well as long as you don't use it?

I already have all these games either on PC or PS4 so don't need another copy of them.
