I had an xbox 360 since launch, hated the PS3. When xbone and ps4 launched the ps4 was better price, better spec and I liked the controller better.
At first I was over the moon and not bothered about xbox but then this year when Forza horizon 3, Forza Motorsport 6 and gears 4 came out I knew i had no chance of playing my favorite games unless I bought an xbox one aswell.
That was a few weeks ago when I bought the elite console for £179 from Tesco and I can honestly say I feel like a better person now. Gears 4 is just like gears 3, the hammerburst is different and there's new weapons and stupid skins all over the place but in essence I'm right back at home now.

Same price if you wanted Forza at the Microsoft store. You don't get the now TV pass but there's £23 Quidco and if you have an AmEx you get £30 refunded within a few days if you opt in to the save £30 on £100 offer through your 'my offers' section online.
That makes the Microsoft deal £169 for amex holders plus £23 quidco to boot paid within 4 months if it all pans out correctly.
Microsoft store with quidco and Amex looks good, my kids don't want one tho!

Is there much difference between the one and the one S??? hope my 12 year old wont be disappointed with just a one???
Chasloyal to helenj
29 Nov 16#51
The difference is the One S about 40% smaller than than the One, the S does HDR gaming(but some say not total HDR if you want to go picture fascist) and it's 4K disc player too.
For an eight year old though, I'd say it mostly depends on what model his mates have got

so glad im pc master race as all the console hype is annoying as hell, although I do think its an epic deal and have pondered about the idea of an xbox one s just for the 4k blu ray, but I had an original xbox one and all it was, was a fancy blu ray player with a controller :-x

I know it seems madness that they didn't include a black/grey console with the Minecraft package as they have that colour consoles/controllers anyway and will just be a case of putting the game with it.
Never mind though.
Cheers.

Do they do a black/grey package with Minecraft as I don't want the white one?
Thanks Mark.

It's called 'storm grey' and no by definitoon of Minecraft being a bit, erm for want of another word, pony it only seems to come with the bog standard white.
Got the white one a couple of months then upgraded to the green 1TB model last week and then saw the grey one I've been after with FIFA download, hard copies of Forza Horizan 3 n ROTR and 3 months of Now TV for 230 quid on Game so ordered that too.
The moral of the story being you don't always what you want at the right money the first time round
It does come with the three different elements mentioned in the comment above. Shame they didn't manufacture a black console for those such as you. Must be annoying. Mine will sit with a Dreamcast and a Wii so will blend in just fine.

Just wondering if this bundle came with an extra controller as well as did not want too much faffing about selling stuff as got so much stuff I need to put on Ebay already, but have not got round to it?
Also it sounds like the Minecraft that comes with the Minecraft console comes with more than just the basic Minecraft game?
Thanks Mark.

i'll buy all 3 Minecraft codes if the op isn't interested. My brother really wanted them but i couldn't get the Minecraft bundle.

I might be able to sort you out selling the Minecraft codes. If you do decide to get that other bundle and still need Minecraft.
Does anyone own a PS4 and a One?
I have a PS4, just wondering if an Xbox is worth a purchase as well. I kind of miss Gears...

I have a PS4, do you only miss Gears....I miss Halo (Master Chef...AHHH)... , the question is do you want to purchase Xbox Live , that's an additional cost. If you going to buy more than one or a series of games. Then its worth the purchase. Its very tempting, but im currently waiting for No Mans Sky to updated to point of perfection...Probably early 2017....Then I will buy it....Multiplayer hopefully coming

Not got the time to search about as such but I know for a fact I see Minecraft for 15 quid on the Microsoft Store yesterday, both physical and digital.
So buy the bundle I've given you a link to and sell the stuff you don't want, you should get a bully for the Fifa code, Forza and ROTTR, buy Minecraft separately and it'll still work out under a two spot  no brainer really

There are about 4 games and more coming out, but very hardly all games. You can stream you Xbox games to a windows 10 PC, but you need the Xbox one as well.

How do you swap Forza for an Extra Controller (INSTORE or ONLINE)?? Is it on a poster or written anywhere in store so I don't have to argue too hard :stuck_out_tongue: ??
Really don't know. Lots on offer at the moment, all around the £199 mark.
The EA access thing, what do you get for £19.99? Is that annually?
