Hey at least they accepted the code this time! And you never know they do occasionally accept codes on consoles.

But won't they honor the deal once we pay and purchase the item on using the code? Or they cancel the order?

Generally cancel, worth a try though. Zavvi get a bad rep because they cancel orders and people get mad. To be fair on them it is in the T&Cs that codes are excluded from consoles.

But as Turk pointed out that's their get out of jail free card.. The biggest concern is the item is not in stock it's in dispatch when they receive stock from their supplier.

In hindsight I spoke too soon, good thing I didn't submit.

I remember the last zavvi code on a console deal, I swore blind they would cancel, even told people in the comments. They didn't... Check the comments after when people got dispatch emails, man I felt like a tool... :-/

In all fairness, one could argue this sign up code isn't a general discount code.

A complete waste of time and space. This is what I received when I requested a next day delivery from a do not reply e-mail address. Total baloney "Please ensure your name and address are clearly legible and that any sensitive data is hidden then send this evidence as an attachment through the message centre by clicking on the upload file button and browsing for your document".

It's coming up with £245 for me with the discount. Hmm.

People do realise that this is out of stock right......"Stock will be despatched to you as soon as we receive it from our supplier"........who knows when they will be availble, i waited over 2 months on stuff that was waiting from suppliers, Zavvi will known for this........just letting people know.

Well to be honest I'm happy paying £249.99 if they offer that instead of cancelling outright. It's worth holding on tbh unless you need the £229 urgently.

I would say register again using that email and see if the order is attached after re-registering. Unfortunately I suspect the chances of that actually working are around 0. Speak to customer services, must have a live chat/email/phone line to use.

Yeah safe to assume zavvi are just ignoring orders... I too have reserved an elite at argos today, 210 including the division but also get a £10 voucher. I'm possibly buying a used 1tb with about £40s worth of games for £170 but not sure what to go for at the minute. That brand new elite or the 1tb used, it has a dark bezel so is a newer version.

I've asked them if it is 100% confirmed or will it be cancelled for whatever reason, waiting for a response. If it they say it could get cancelled then im just gonna get the elite for £199.99.

Nothing to stop them saying "sure it's fine" and then have their supplier pull the plug on the deal. Maybe buy the elite now and keep it sealed for a few days and return it if the zavvi order gets dispatched?

to be honest im much better off buying the elite since it's theres not too much of a hardware upgrade, i don't watch films or anything like that. The 1 single thing i wanted was vertical standing. But since everyone is complaining about the one s making annoying noises I think ill go with the elite since it's whisper quite.

i would get the new one entirely because the fact you can depend on argos for warranty. + nothing beats getting a new elite controller lol.

Well he said the order is confirmed and wont be cancelled but im really not too keen on this anymore. Pretty much getting a One S + BF1 for £190 which is great but the elite for £199.99 just seems to be the better deal as an upgrade for £30.

The Minecraft bundle is in stock and being dispatched, so hopefully our's won't be far behind.
