It is awesome I originally planned to sell it as stated above to of gained a cheaper console/3d blu ray player for the bedroom. This was until I held it.... Now I have 4 controllers which is an even number so it's all good.

got mine as well - my missus picked it up from local tesco. Heavy box - elite controller is trully amazing in terms of quality. Wow - clever solution - every part is magnetic - no clips or anything that could snap. The best controller ever made up to date across any platform.

This elite bundle has a better controller compared to the XB1 S bundles.

If you have a 4K TV and will be watching 4K content (4k bluray, netflix etc streaming) then the S bundle may be a better choice. But if only want for gaming then I will would probably recommend this cheaper elite bundle instead.

I was ordering mine and the website crashed while choosing a store for collection. Next thing I see when it got working again was the 199 price instead :S but I phoned them and the person I spoke with was really helpful and got it all sorted. It seems they could verify that I was purchasing just before the price change.

i picked up the s model a few weeks back for £279 still think that was a good deal as i got forzza horzion 3, mafia 3 and fifa 17 the package. This is a good deal however the main reason why i got an S was because i hate the dam power brick

It depends what you want it for. The Xbox One S supports 4k output and HDR, is smaller and has a range of HDD sizes. The Elite console has a 1TB hybrid drive which, in theory, helps to improve load times. The biggest difference is the Elite controller though. These normally cost >£100 each and you get one bundled with the Elite console. The Xbox One S controller is NOT better than the Elite controller. Your choice :smile:

I think someone may have made a mistake in Tesco! At £199 it's still a bargain - the controller is worth £130 alone!

I bought my son an XBOX one 2 years ago and I broke the left stick on 2 controllers playing FIFA on it. My XBOX360 controllers are fine after 5 years so for that reason alone I'm sticking to my ancient 360.

I've been thinking about getting a Xbox One purely for EA access. More than happy with my PS4 and always will be. I've already got an elite controller that I use on my ps4 using a Cronusmax, but have been upset after seeing gears of war and Forza which I can't play.
I've bought this using £19 of clubcard vouchers (double up has gone so don't care about saving them)

Paid £160 and went through TCB (1.57%) and paid on my AmEx Cashback card (1.25%) so will pay £155.50 after Cashback.

I plan on using my elite controller and selling this one in my old tatty box on eBay for maybe £80 net?

Ordered.... then cancelled after reading reviews. Turns out the internal drive isn't much of an improvement and the controller doesn't interest me.
It's an awesome deal if buying to sell, if you don't already own an xbox or you want the elite controller. But for a performance improvement the one S is actually a better option due to its slight overclock.

Don't have hdr tv, don't need 4k bluray player but need 1tb hdd and great controller. Don't need any problems with ratteling fan or some weird noises coming from xbox one S so.. this is the best deal for me. Thank you :smiley:

The real deal here is that it includes the Elite Controller which sells for £90-110 on it own. So you are basically getting the console for around £80 which is very impressive. Heck if you just wanted the Elite Controller you could buy this and sell the console on its own for about £120-150 (which seems reasonable).

If people are willing to pay just as much as for an Xbox One S then go for it. It's their fault they're too lazy to check it themselves.

awesome price. I already have a day one. Can't figure out how to make this work. CEX trade in is just under £100 for old one. So 80 ish for elite controller and a 1tb SSHD. Oh well I bought one. If it doesn't pan out I can always return it.

quick question I have bought the 3.5mm jack controller twice and the left analog has messed up playing rocket league .Now I'm not even heavy handed . The original xbox one controller is fine when playing. Both the controls that have messed up I bought thew hotukdeal when were on sale and both I have had to sell to cex they wouldn't even take the first time at lt button was loose and then to stiff and the second controller analog the same after a week and then the right side of the controller the whole pad felt loose . Are the elite controller different does the left analog brake as easily . looked on google many people have had issues with the 3.5mm controller . Bought it anyway as needed more space as have a 1tb xbox console already and hate having external hard drive hanging out the side . wish I had bought the new 2tb s console when was released . going to sell the controller thou just wanted the console
