Wait for an S , the elite controller in my opinion is horrible. Plus your probably get a decent deal tomorrow on an S.

Back in stock? Is it worth waiting until tomorrow to see if there'll be a better deal on the elite console?

Me too, was so tempted, although for the price of £170 (£30 cashback with Amex) its one hell of a deal. On another note has anyone, anywhere seen any Wii U Deals or Online 3DS deals, someone ... somewhere

Agreed, s all the way. Some amazing deals at the moment. But tomorrow there should be at least one amazing deal. At this price it's worth snapping and getting 11 months of fun, even if you are then tempted by the Scorpio.

Can't believe I spent £400 on this at launch, think I'm gonna cry cos quite frankly the controller, the main reason to buy this, is rubbish, within weeks the right trigger broke and now it gets sticky as if somebody poured honey in there, and before any blames it on user error, I still have my launch PS4 controllers in perfect condition and they get a helluva more use.

If you already have an Xbox then best save that money for Scorpio, given the specs I'm sure they'll do some sort bundle with the next version of the Elite controller, which hopefully will be a more robust.
The controller that come with the S is actually quite nice and prefer it over the others.

Damn, bought one (heh, *before* posting it this time.. having missed out on the £179 deals earlier  ) mainly due to the faster hybrid drive and thinking the controller would be good. Well, if a (grey edition) S comes up tomorrow, at least they do free returns..

I've you don't want it, I will be happy to take it! I missed the deal already twice... (left my laptop for 1 hour and puff all gone)

@muslos and all, sure thing, will post on here if I change my mind within a day or two of getting it (based in London, FWIW).
Anyway for only another £37-£50 the S seems better for anyone with a 4K TV, I'm not planning to get one for another year or two though (Pioneer KRP500A, better TVs exist now but not yet south of ~£3k..), so went with the lower price, faster drive and YMMV premium controller. Bit odd that the S doesn't have the hybrid drive, otherwise that'd tip the balance IMO.

Elite console is amazing with 1tb memory ,,, I'd buy it 100% as the controller is worth £120 ,,, and it is the best controller to hand

That would be great!, Im based in London too. Send me a pm if you are interested. I will still keep on checking in the MS site, just in case.

Ah yeah very good point, half the storage on the S at those prices, so I guess overall the deals/prices are quite balanced, just depends what features mean more to you..

Haha  from the lack of Nintendo deals you wouldn't know it, but once the mighty switch is released we will see  ... just need to add this in here, games created under the Nintendo label are by far the most creative, original and importantly fun, i loved nothing more than mincing zombies on my old XB1 but it just doesn't compare.
