Yes but only if you have standard subscriptions and the 3 year limit already mentioned.
Usually anything where there was a free extra period (eg some game branded promo's are 12 months plus 1 month free) usually can't have anything more stacked on top until they have expired.
If you have paid by card before you may also have to cancel the auto renew too before it will allow it to stack.

Not seen a definite answer but I have used codes that were over a year old and if the recipient already has an account, the codes stack.

One trick, do any work on your Live account on a computer.
It is a lot easier that trying to type details and codes using the control pad.

Phoned customer services, they weren't aware of this, put on hold and asked someone senior and came back to me confirming, even commented to me it could be worth purchasing x 2, raced over to store, they had no knowledge, wouldn't sell me the deal, even tried to show the difficult assistant photo screen shots of this deal, couldn't confirm it would be on tonight either when they reopen at 8, turns out customer services I spoke to are a third party on behalf of game, and informed by shop assistant that this "third party" customer services have ill advised many times before and caused all sorts of issues for stores, rang back customer services and explained, had an apology but couldn't help, been sent on wild goose chase, Coventry (arena park) not very accommodating or understanding, didn't even want to look at the screen shots, p*ss poor, frustrated and angry!
Would love to grab this, but i'm still waiting for a great deal on an Xbox One S tomorrow, dont wanna buy this if i can't get a console to use it on.

I also miss they days, on the original xbox, game used to do the code with a game for £19.99.
Suppose live includes extras like free monthly games etc now.
A ebay seller called Jasper used to do them for £24.99.
Been on live since the ORIGINAL xbox beta that came on a disc that was £42.99 if memory serves, 14 years UK tenure, never paid as much as that since, bought a load for £15 each when on sale in Morrisons once, ah they were the days!

You can stack up to 3 years worth.
So yes you can buy 2 (or 3) of these and apply in one go.

Clearly a lot of pressure on GAME store managers to get good results. Hence why they often conveniently sell out of offers or tell you it's not valid because of X. Sounds like quite a few are trying to worm out of this but be persistent and tweet at the head office if they won't honour it!

I bought a 12months Gold Live from CD Keys at the start of this month. I tried to add it before my current year expired and had difficulty. On obtaining assistance from Microsoft they could not even do it. Long and short of it, on my receipt from CD Keys in the small print it says you cant stack. On further investigation from the MS employee he concurred.
He also mentioned that Microsoft are reviewing and launching a new Live membership scheme very soon.

As someone who has just bought a Xbox one S the short answer is no...I had PS4 from launch and ps+ used to be good...been so rubbish for months to the point I've not renewed for 5...crappy Indy titles now and no PS3 titles as they try to push their stupid subscription service. I'm considering getting Xbox live as you get good older Xbox 360 titles...plus the servers are better on Xbox

In this context no, however there is a distinction between Xbox Live & Xbox Live with Gold. Anyone can sign up to Xbox Live for free, the Gold is the paid for service. Microsoft changed the service back in June 2014, which is why there may be some confusion as prior to that change most of the services required a subscription. Check the Xbox FAQ for details...

I can confirm after working at GAME previously these codes do and may sell out as they are not "Generated" and are actually stored on their systems and printed when required.
Could have changed now right enough but I doubt they can generate codes from Microsoft and discount them ?

Working as Front end that might seem what happens, no vendor of digital content keeps a internal database of keys because that would be so vulnerable should it ever been compromised, internally by employees or externally. Also think about concurrent purchases, in store and online what if multiple people at the exact time request the same key in the database? this is called a "race condition". Basically the stores lease the Microsoft algorithm and a unique store key and generate keys at point of sale which alleviates all the above issues, Same applies with digital content scratch codes, they need to be activated before use using the vendor unique key.

Quick tip if it helps people - did it on my phone and laptop.
If it's whirring around attempting to add to basket, refresh the page and it should be added.
When going to basket you get the Mario error, again, refresh (might take a few seconds) and you should be able to then pay for it - I used PayPal and did the whole thing in just a few minutes :smiley:

Put xbox one on to type it in then console says it needed 700mb update and while that was going on i got an email from Microsoft saying my sub had been updated by a year...weird but just glad its done.
Just for info sake my payment information was nearing its end date so i updated it and that may be the reason the code was not working as it says on the xbox page if your payment info is in decline then codes may not work !

Instead of getting the code on a card and delivered they just email the code to redeem. Which will give 12 months Xbox live. It can be redeemed on the Xbox itself or the Xbox website.

Just checked the online store still has it at £39.99.
You might be able to talk via the online chat and get them to match it.
Usually anything where there was a free extra period (eg some game branded promo's are 12 months plus 1 month free) usually can't have anything more stacked on top until they have expired.
If you have paid by card before you may also have to cancel the auto renew too before it will allow it to stack.
Not seen a definite answer but I have used codes that were over a year old and if the recipient already has an account, the codes stack.
Also, is that HUKD symbol on the actual poster or overlaid onto the photo? :man:

Finally got the sale completed by using PayPal after about 30 minutes of trying, received receipt and confirmation about 5 minutes ago. Haven't received code yet :disappointed:
Just for info sake my payment information was nearing its end date so i updated it and that may be the reason the code was not working as it says on the xbox page if your payment info is in decline then codes may not work !
