Fab price drop on these R.E.V (Robotic enchanced vehicles) at Smyths. You get 2 cars so ideal for joint present if you have 2 children from same family to buy for. They are made by Wow wee who make one of the must have toys this Christmas CHiP the robot dog.
These are basically remote controlled cars but the remote is an android or iOs handset or ipod / ipad or kindle.
They have artificial intelligence and are designed to play mini games not just race against each other. Even if there is just one player you can still play with the 2 cars and switch control over which car you are controlling.
You need 4 x AA batteries for each car (Not included) but they last for 1 hour and 10 minutes of play.
They have really good reviews and this is the best price around at the moment and free delivery or click and collect in store.
They are good, my boys have them but you do need a pretty recent tablet/phone to use them. Not all of ours would load the app so might be worth looking at what's compatible if your child has a basic tablet
