Been searching the net for something like this for my son, he keeps leaving them around & our St Bernard pup loves to nibble on them, so other than making him move out or muzzling the pup (she is in training, but its hard to be tough with something so fluffy & adorable & the 1st option seems easier in the long run), I was after something cheap & cheerful to keep as spares, came across this set at Gearbest & was really surprised by the excellent reviews for the price! Scores 4.8 from 456 reviewers
Not very techy, so he checked & said they looked ideal.

Excuse my extreme ignorance on this stuff, but is this usable with a crash helmet on a phone?

I would go with a bluetooth helmet. Much safer and easier.

Yyy it's called common sense. Don't expect good sound quality from such a small cheap unbranded headphones. Have similar more expensive branded model and sound quality is not great. For that price they are good as a spare ones or as a stocking filler.

From an Engineering perspective - the battery is suspect. 2-3 hours charging time for a play time of 3-5 hours. This speaks volumes about the quality of the battery or that of the charger that is being shipped. Either ways, I would not recommend this device, which is to work at close proximity to the body, to anyone whom i care about.
Won't comment about the headphone itself  Leave that to the audiophiles.
For the record, i have used Gearbest before and have nothing negative to say about them!!!

Good price but I would treat gearbest reviews with caution. I have noticed from experience that they don't publish any reviews on their site if is it critical of the product ( 1 or 2 star)
I haven't seen any gearbest product which has just got 1 or 2 stars....

This is True/Fact as you won`t find any negative reviews what so ever,
This is why I like FastTech which has a forum where you get True reviews be it good or bad

I would put in my head something with batteries and (at the very least) questionable quality. That's regardless sound quality.
As well that's personal but I prefer to buy headphones made with good materials, that will last longer, even if they are more expensive. Earphones is one of the items that we throw away more, and they contaminate a lot if not recycled properly.

I bought this from amazon about 6 months back.
I only used it for the microphone, which was very good.
I never tried using the headphones, though.
The price is excellent.

I bought the headphones around a year ago not expecting much.
They were fine for around a couple of months, then refused to charge (i.e. the lights indicated charging and completed charge, but it appeared the internal battery wasn't holding the charge).
I certainly wouldn't buy them again (I replaced them with sports ones from Aldi).

I got them around a year ago to wear for running. You get better sound spending £5 on a pair of Sony headphones, but these are bluetooth instead of being Sony for £5. For a hour I really don't mind tollerating inferior sound when quite often the earbuds used to get pulled out of my ears as I ran because of the long cord wrapped around me and my clothing snagging. They hold charge for at least 2 hours (I charge them after every use pretty much). Early on, I've used them (at most) 4 times before the battery died. I've not lost connection ever (but from 1m away they really shouldn't anyway). Don't buy if you can't bare muffled sound (it isn't great, but it isn't terrible either) or if you are expecting a quality pair of earphones. Buy them if you want to be set free(ish) from your phone.

If it's the same I am having (bought around a year bk), sound quality is good but reception is bit shaky. If my phone is in my jacket inner pocket, sometimes it gets disconnected. Volume button resets the song and the worst with mine is it can be charged only when it's fully discharged. I got a full refund from seller, not the same seller here but it was from China or Hong Kong.

I was tempted until I saw the following:
● Working time: About 3 to 5 hours
● Charge time: About 2 to 3 hours
Would get annoying having to charge all the time.

I got them and regret buying, sound quality is terrible, stay away !!!
I have lg headphones like these. these looks like cheap copycat of LG , but hey for this price why not. BTW.: like someone mentioned above original's sound quality is not that good, so wonder what quality of sound these then might provide:/

So, I took a punt at £4 all in, and they were delivered today ready to go outta the box, so took about 2 weeks, and paired with my (Moto g) phone in seconds. Sound quality of music (Spotify) good (in my honest humble opinion) and have taken/made a couple of calls. OK, so that aspect is a bit like the other guy is in a large empty room (to me), but no big deal, seriously AND anyway at £4 delivered, WOW.
I have JUST had a lovely voice advise me of low battery, please charge after just about an hour of use outta the box, so this will be it's 1st charge. Yer know...I do believe these headphones would make a pretty decent stocking filler...whaderyer think?.
