How can lamb be so cheap, it is cheaper than corn fed chicken per kg.

I just hope that this time they limit it to 3-4 max per customer not like last year where it was 20 max per customer and all the hoteliers and restaurant owners went and bought them all by 8 am.

last year before christmas I ordered 5 lamb leg in this price but after delivery i checked reciept and saw that it was £1 per KG.

You obviously missed out on that offer

went to my local, asked 6 staff members, all looked clueless. Always a pleasure going into Morrisons!

We all know that , the question is not it is a loss leader, the question is how cheap can one go with a loss leader and why it was seldom this low before. A question we shall never know the answer, but £4/kg is a floor price so far in retailing price in last 5 years in what I am aware of.

Just picked a couple up in store, max 2 per person, not much stock thou, virtually all gone by 09.30am at the Cwmbran store. The lamb is New Zealand Lamb not British.

just got one from morrisons Cheadle. still a few left
