Thanks rev6, room is 16 m2 so not the biggest but like you say best check it out instore, trouble is I don't think richer sounds do the 9.1 so won't be able to get a comparison

the 9.1s are available for £99.
is there enough of a difference between these and the 9.1s to justify the £60 price difference?

Depends where you put them really, and your budget. The 9.0's are more suited for smaller rooms. You really should demo them at your local richer sounds, if you can.

These will be no good for your son as what we is looking for is Studio Monitors that have a flat response for unbiased listening.

These speakers sound great, a big improvement on my previous Sony ones. They aren't massively loud so not ideal for large rooms.

No definitely not you want monitor speaker for music making plus krk are like 100-200 per speaker!

My son makes beats. Are these like the Krk rockets or are they totally different? Tia

Hope it's a match, sound wise. It could sound a bit off

Hot. Bought them a few months back at this price, coupled with a small SMSL amp, to build a little system for my spare room where I have my computer setup. excellent sound, and even better value.

Cheap, but a very old design. Good for £40.

Sadly they don't have any stores close to my location. Otherwise I'd have bagged a few pairs. :disappointed:
Opening post
Been waiting for these to go down in price.
Seems to be a HUKD favourite.
Great speakers considering the price, producing great sound.
Reviews speak for itself.
