2.4ghz can constantly switch channels, so if one car is registered on one channel then you pick up another car it will automatically switch to channel 2 for that car and so on.

Does anyone know how that works? If you buy several, how do you make sure they run on different bands?

Picked up 2 from Letchworth earlier. There were about 15 left. Bought one last year from Amazon Black Friday for £25 so this is an absolute bargain. I have noticed even though the one I bought last year is still a Vaporizr 2 they have updated this model. The remote is now 2.4ghz so you don't have to worry which frequency to get when buying more than one. Last years model was something like 24mhz and 28mhz only. The tyres are hard plastic instead of a softer type of plastic which you could squeeze in. Also the body can't come off like it could on the older one.
I bought two of these this morning for my sons, both on same frequency it seems? After researching on amazon it says they need to be on different frequencys in order to be able to work alongside each other- does anyone know if theres more than the one frequency available in Morrisons on this offer?

I got mine out to try it early, it's wicked fun on laminate flooring or tiles in the kitchen, steering takes some mastering but once you do reverse 180 flicks and stylish handbrake turns and donuts are a breeze great for chasing the dog round with too, theirs no evading it, when it can just turn around on the spot tank style! Can't wait to try it on water soon.

I got one for my lad last year. This is my opinion/review.
It's kind of marketed as all terrain and it certainly looks like it is. However the tyres are smooth plastic and don't grip for s##t. wet grass is a no go as is grass slightly longer than cut short. Even concrete/tarmac is a struggle as the plastic slips.
The controls are classic tank and not conventional. As in the 2 left wheels go either forward or back together and the right do the same. there is no actual steering of the wheels. Sounds easy but sure isn't. both sticks up to go forward is fairly simple but turning left for example is down on left and up on right. This also spins the car in a circle.
The battery doesn't last long at all and struggles after 5 minutes until dead in about 10.
At the end of the day though it's 10 quid! And sat in a corner indefinitely after a few days is easier to swallow AT a tenner than it is 40 odd quid :-)

I would back this up, found the exact same issues, I was looking forward to playing.... I mean watching my son play in the snow, but it crippled it, the battery didn't even do 5mins I guess due to the temperature. One big plus though is that its great in water and as there is less resistance, I got it to last well over 20mins

Just bought 2 from Elland store which is a small store. Marked as £10 reduced from £25. Got a red one and a blue one for my 2 lads. Very happy. Can confirm these are the 2.4GHz version with 1 hour quick charge. Anyone know what the difference between the 2.4GHz and the 27Mhz version is? Is it just the frequency of the remote so you could have 2 running and not interfere?

you I think so, box says on it 10 can be raced together at the same time. I think the controllers pair to the car when switched on separately from other cars.

Like simba said it says on box up to 10 cars can race together at once I bought three so can't wait to go racing xmas day with the kids, come rain or snow it's an amphibious RC car so should cope with weather no matter what an utter bargain in my view should be over 500 degrees on here at least by now!

my 3yo loved hers - nice bonus that these are ready to run out the box, so perfect for xmas morning. its a shame they didn't make the tyres rubber instead of hard plastic but the thing is plenty powerful.
we are going to the park tomorrow to have a play around on some open space. I think it says all terrain on the box but it seems like the instructions say no to a few surfaces like grass etc...lol
