Not sure why people are voting cold - hot from me as it's the best AC ever made in my opinion.

I played through this on PS4, and I have it for xbox (not got round to playing it yet  ) as much as I enjoyed it, I much preferred AC:III.

I love this game because it's the best pirate game yet any dev has made. But is it a 'true' AC game? Not really.
Also, Ubisoft is going to giveaway a free copy of AC3 on Uplay.

Voted hot, but I still prefer 1 & 2 better ... climbing the tall buildings around Rome is far better than the shacks and churches in this one ...

I am also confused regarding temperature, this is a decent price for a very enjoyable game, also the amount of information given in the post is admirable too (because naval puns) even if it is copypasted

This is the one I enjoyed the least but hey, personal preference right? :stuck_out_tongue: Black Flag is the only game ever that made me want to complete 100%... and my hd crashed when I was at 99%, needless to say I didn't even reinstall :stuck_out_tongue:

Heat added for anything AC related :sunglasses:

This is more of a spin-off AC title than of the main series. Ubisoft killed any hopes of making a pirate series by shoving Black Flag into the AC series. There's also Rogue but aside that.. nothing else.

The Amazon webpage states it's for Windows Vista/7/8. Does anyone know if this Uplay game actually works with Windows 10?

Had nothing but issues in windows 10 with this also when it does work I cant get vsnyc to work in game or nvidia control panel would not normally bother but the 62fps cap just causes tearing.

Thanks OP, picked up Deluxe for a few pounds more. Cant wait to think about playing it for the next 5 years.
If you want a pirate game just download from torrents.
Not as good as AC2 but worth a play through.

Macdory and keepitonthelow... Although some on the net say they are having no problems with it, there is a very significant amount of others also stating the same as you, keeepitonthelow - That they have not had much - if any - success in getting the game to work on Win10. So unfortunately I think I will end up passing on this game even though it is the only AC game that I have ever really been interested in. It may not be much of an outlay moneywise, but the many hours that some have invested in unsuccessfully trying to get it to work, certainly puts me off.

Apparently, if you are having problems a reinstall of the game (which wouldn't be a problem for you in any case) or the following fixes it if people are having problems:
COPY DLL FROM ASSASSIN CREED FOLDER
D3DCompiler_43
D3DX9_43
xinput1_3
TO SYSTEM32 AND SYSWOW64
and enjoy the game
note: find correct path for x86 and x64
