I have written some scripts that update the prices & as with every method there are a few quirks.
For some reason unbeknown to me, My Supermarket has comparisons of own brand drinks at other supermarkets. For example there is a valid comparison of Asda Dry Gin thats cheaper at Morrisons. This is obviously not the case but is a flaw in My supermarkets data.
Enjoy & i hope this list helps a few people out.
EDIT: Added bargains in Red where they are at least 15% cheaper than another supermarket.

Nice list. Gin Mare is in Aldi for 27.99, a good bit cheaper than the others.

As i have updated the Whisky Mega-List, i couldn't neglect the Gin Mega-List. So here it is updated. My go to gin is Bombay (blue one) & it's only £18 for 1L in Sainsbury's.

Flavoured Edinburgh gins in Aldi for 19.99. OOS on the Gin Mare in both Inverness stores, manager said they flew out. :'(

Had a Hendricks in Glasgow recently, with cucumber garnish (barnab said its as recommended by Hendricks). Made the drink. wow. Caorunn recommends a tangy apple garnish. Had a Gin Negroni once, with orphir spiced gin, was like curry in a glass. my grubs hatred it, I thought it was nice.

I really dislike fevertree, far too bitter, but supermarkets do great bulk buys on it at Xmas. I get Schweppes or Tesco own, as it didn't overpower the Gin. Experiments to find what you like. I like premium gin but not premium tonic!

any good recommendation for a gin beginner ?
and which tonic should i use ?

Difficult question, as I see it there are 4 different grades of gin.
1. extreme budget
2. Budget
3. Premium
4. Super Premium
Depending on your taste, if you like fruity, bitter, sour etc, there are also lots of different garnishes that are recommended by the different gin houses.
I would probably suggest you try a few different ones at a pub to see what you like.
As for tonic keep away from the cheap stuff, for me its fever tree or fentimans every time.

Caorunn, or Hendricks. Gin Mare, it's like nothing else. Brockmans if you like blackberry, Harris if you can get it! I started on Hendricks. Shetland reel good too.

For the simple G&T most brands recommend a 50ml gin with 200ml - 250ml tonic.

I guess budget, just had a search on those tonic, over time the tonics probs gonna cost more than the bottle of gin.

What's the difference between Bombay Sapphire Bombay Original London Dry Gin (1L) and Bombay Sapphire Distilled London Dry Gin (1L)?

Distilled is the blue one. In my opinion its a lot nicer than the other one.
Blue one is stronger 40 vs 37.5.

What ever happened to Sir Robert Burnetts White Satin Gin? At one time it was the second most popular gin in the UK and then it just seemed to vanish.
There were rumours of a relaunch but it never seems to have happened.
