Poundland are notorious for having "special runs" on items to a price point, so you need to compare like with like ie price per gram/ml.

I brought this 10 years ago and hated it because it was crunchy!
Turned out I left egg shells in my bap...

Just don't like the taste of Daddies. The 1.5kg Heinz bottle for £3 tastes better, IMHO.

I was wondering what this tasted like. I haven't let anything but Heinz tommy sauce touch my plate since about 1985!

Not keen on this stuff, so watered down it runs out of the bottle without squeezing it. Daddies years ago wasn't like this when it was in a glass bottle with a dad's head on it.

Well I can tell you that this size is not made in the Netherlands like it used to be. This is now made in Poland.
The smaller bottles in the main supermarkets are still made in the Netherlands to the best of my knowledge.
