you need to do 4player missions, of which there are about 8, to get vital resources/personnel to build your base - only need to do this once each before lv.30 and they also give a huge amount of XP first time and they are easy enough on normal that the game will throw up competent enough teammates. other than that 1-30 is perfectly solo'able and with new loot system you should grab some usable loot along the way. once you hit 30 there is a lot of side missions to clear off the map to give crafting recipies but i just headed straight to hard mode team missions and with new patch EVERYTHING drops loads of loot.
darkzone is a horrible gank fest though, exciting and challenging first time you explore or first time you find a team with someone knows where the best chest runs are but sooner rather than later you'll have someone run up to you and unload a shotgun in your face before you can get a /wave emote off then proceed to make your life hell (you can't even kill them till they shoot you without becoming a bounty target yourself) till you give up - after patch the loot isn't any better so really not worth the stress.

Game has been updated since that. It has different tiers now for gear score. I think it was 1.4 when it was patched big. We are now on 1.5 I think.

Anyone know Quidco's cashback with cdkeys? Should have waited but didn't want them to sell out so just went ahead and ordered 2 codes for friends this Christmas. Don't seem to have been delivered instantly like usual though, guessing they're abit behind on the orders over at cdkeys?

I think they might be closing the loophole though, as it started to ask more and more for the queue thing, and i had to keep repeating the same trick.
Paste the URL into a web browser window (i used incognito mode, not sure if that makes a difference)
Then press "esc." or "stop" immediately after that page has loaded.
Add it to the basket, go to basket add the black friday code, checkout with paypal.
It worked for me but i had to repeat the trick several times to get there and i opened a new tab each time in incognito mode (whilst leaving the old tab open)
Lastly, dont forget to "leave" the queue on all the extra windows you've had open so people after you have a shorter wait.

To elaborate how to do this:
get a stripped out cdkeys URL, without any other gumpff in it
i.e.
