No tm Lewin shirys are poor quality for daily wear clothes. I don't even dare to wash them in washing machine. With Primark, most clothes are machine washable and look as good as new after wash and iron.

Not really, more like a fool and his money are easily parted. There are other stores like Matalan and TK Maxx which do men's clothing with colour bones and still cheaper even if do not like Primark style. Also I have agree if you are looking for single occasion delicate wear then TM Lewin and Moss Brothers may be better.

I have a gift card that I found I can't use online :disappointed: which means I need to travel to inner london to pay £7 more for a shirt compared to this deal. i highly recommend not buying a TM Lewin gift card!!

Apples and oranges, Primark make cheap disposable shirts with plastic in the collar from polyester, TM Lewin make quality shirts with removable collar bones, which are essential if you wear a shirt regularly and want to look good. Primark shirts are good if you are a kid on work experience or somebody who rarely wears a shirt, but as a politics student I am at events in a suit every week at least, often more, and Primark shirts would be a false economy and would look awful.

It also depends on the Primark store near you. Primark good quality stuff sells very fast and it is not available in small stores, The big stores have much greater variety and range . I buy clothes from Primark in Central London, and other big stores, try them at home and return if required nearer to home.

Primark may sell cheap shirts/clothes, but they don't sell TM Lewin shirts for £7-8 as you originally posted.
It's like saying don't buy a Mercedes as Dacia sell the same thing.... :confused:
Yes there are cheaper alternatives, however that could be added on the majority of deal threads on here.

I remember that once I needed fast a black shirt for a funeral and I found one in my size at Tesco, this made de event way more painful, because of the rash I got around my neck.
On the other hand one of my favourite summer shirts is a Sainsburys one, good quality fabric and tailoring, so I would say that you can get decent shirts for this kind of money, but I wont bet on it.
TM Lewin or Charles Tyrwhitt have generally decent shirts, but I would not pay the full RRP for them.
The comparison with Primark is ridiculous, in my opinion. However, polyester shirts look great and you never have to iron them but try to wear them for 10 hours.

Primark quality is very good for machine washable clothes . In fact brands like TM Lewin and Moss Brother are good for single occasion clothing made of pure silk, linen or other delicate materials which need dry cleaning and may not look same after machine wash.

Charles Tyrwhitt are better quality and thicker material. TM Lewin are fine for summer.

Qualities good, well worth £19.95 a shirt, I find them better than Charles Tyrwhitt, just buy the twill shirt for winter as they are much thicker than the standard shirts

If it doesn't work for you try entering "Charles Tyrwhitt shirts" in to google. TM Lewin and this offer comes up as the first result. It works vice versa as well, if you want cheaper CT shirts.

Yes they are especially in London. People vote for them with their feet. If you visit their stores in Oxford Street in Central London you can see the queues and cheap prices every day even in Central London . TM Lewin stores are all empty because hardly anyone is buying from them.

Yes it is. I have a few tm Lewin as well. No difference between them and my primark shirts. But primark are half the price or even lesser so I stopped buying from tm Lewin. I only buy now from primark, H&M, blue Inc and matalan as they are all much cheaper. Primark is vey low price. But on weekends it's very crowded due to Sunday trading laws and low prices.
