It's easier to go through the actual origin app on a desktop or laptop, install the vpn I linked to, choose the vpn and browse and pay through the app, all in english too

It's not worth buying until they put in a hardcore mode. Feel like I'm peashooting.

Nor is probably any other VPN service. Good luck trusting all the others. I suggest that you activate the service, buy the game and then deactive/remove the extension/etc.
Also remember to use Origin 2-factor authentication in case someone is trying to try his luck with your Origin credentials.
Looking at ebay prices there may be a cheaper region for VPN purchases.
One seller has Titanfall 2 Origin accounts for <£16.

Yeah I wouldn't suggest buying one, but it can be an indication that there is a low cost region (e.g. Nigeria/India).

20 Nov 16#28
A heads up: you can only pay with a card using this method, not Paypal.
Edit: But Singapore DOES accept Paypal and it's $37.28 SGD/£22.12 there.
Edit 2: Although I couldn't get the Singapore Paypal to work for some reason, dammit.
Edit 3: Okay, it took me some messing about (Paypal didn't like my VPN and Origin didn't like it when I disabled it) but I got it to go through via Singapore

I can't believe people are still mentioning Hola as a VPN option. After the huge amount of discussions about the use of Hola on here were people have gone in to huge detail around it, user's should start getting warnings.

Multiple VPN deals posted by Jaystan well before you joined HUKD.
You mean well before this account was made. N00b. :smirk:

If you use a vpn to purchase the game from another Origin region do you then need to use the vpn when playing?
edit: should anyone need a reliable vpn:
It's run by the University of Tsukuba, Japan for largely for bypassing government firewalls(e.g. China) but it works for origin.

I just added a credit card to my origin account before I started the VPN.
Then when you start the vpn and go to the korean origin store it's already there. I did get a security check call from my bank to confirm it was me after the order went through. Maybe your bank blocked it and you need to call them up?

There are credit cards that don't charge you anything at all. It's worth getting one just for holidays.
I have the Platinum Post Office and Santander Zero(santander has a better web and mobile app). Neither charge you any extra for foreign purchases. It's just the spot rate conversion for the amount of your purchase. Both are free so no monthly or annual charge.

Ended up going through revolut, cost me 21.58 all together for bf1 better than my bank at least anyway, few quid more than everyone else here but ah well
