If you cant get this deal online through the link provided, call 333 from your three mobile and haggle over the phone for it.

Deal actually gives you - Unlimited Data / Unlimited Minutes / Unlimited Text / 30GB Hotspot - ALL FOR £19 per month.

Some clever marketing from Three with this as they are trying to get customers off their old 'one plans'. They are sneakily trying to charge different prices to different customers for the same sim plan. Check the below links to understand more.......

http://www.three.co.uk/simplans6 - £19

http://www.three.co.uk/simplans7 - £23

http://www.three.co.uk/simplans8 - £27

for existing customers only

If I were cynical I'd guess this was posted by a Three stooge who knows that filling in the form will fail and to get folk to phone 333 to haggle over a new contract at considerably higher cost... if I were cynical.

Has this worked for anyone more recently than a couple of months ago? The page still shows live - I made request to change back last month but got the message saying there is a problem and to call them... They won't match it over the phone... Best they will offer is the 30gb for £18 offer listed elsewhere... Is it worth the "hangup and try again" approach with 3?

This worked for me this week, although it's actually now saying £20 on my account rather than £19 as the page this deal links to states so I might chase that.

I've filled the form in twice - once 7 weeks ago, once 3 weeks ago. Haven't heard a peep from them :-(

(I'm on £17/month unlimited data, 200 mins, no longer in contract)

This is not a hoax at all i got a letter in the post giving me these options its a pain as ive been with them so long but on the simler deal at £15 only difference was that it was 200 minutes rather then umlimted and 4g hotspot rather then 30 some although a little cheesed that i have to spend more it is a goods deal

Im was on 200min, unlimited data and txt and 4gb hotspot, never had the email invite from 3, but clicked on the 1st link and filled in my details. This was on the 27th December, had no confirmation until today which said thanks for staying. Had it confirmed (2nd Jan) via chat that I have been upgraded to unlimited everything, 30gb hotspot for £19. Hot deal and still works.

You can get Unlimited everything for £32 per month with 12 months for the price of 9. This works out at £21.66 per month. you pay 32 X 3 And then on your 4th bill a credit for £96. Then after bill no6 you are back to paying £32 per month. Until next christmas.

The Black Friday offer works out cheaper over 12 months. This one £19/month for 12 months costs £228. The offer they have on atm is £23/month for 12 months, but 3 months free, this comes to £207, so £21 cheaper over 12 months. The 23/month is cheaper unless you stay on the £19 contract for 15 months, that's when that starts to be profitable.
However, remember you are getting unlimited minutes too for £19, if you need them.

I called 3 this afternoon and changed my £20 unlimited data/500 mins/5000 texts for 30gb (my average usage over past 12 months has been less than 6mb a month), unlimited mins/texts plus tethering.
Also changed my Wife's who was paying £15 a month for unlimited data/200mins/5000 texts for 4gb/ unlimited mins/texts and tethering and only £10 a month.

Same contract as me. It was originally for 12 months then went to rolling 30 day sometime earlier this year. I have not received any communication from Three.
Yesterday I used the link in the original post and applied for the £19 12month contract.
This afternoon I received a text from 3 saying:
"Thanks for staying with Three. We've processed your request and your new tariff will take effect from your next bill"

So it looks like the links are legit and the tariffs are available.

I am on 1 month rolling contract, all you can eat, 200 mins and 4GB hot-spot. Three have not been in touch at all about changing my plan and I'm wondering if I should preempt this by signing up for the £19 one. Any thoughts on this?

Im 18quid a month too. Not been told of any changes that I know of.
Would like them to include hotspot abroad. That would be great so could use ipad on holiday.
But £19 is still great especially home from abroad. Best thing bout Three.

I guess scrolling down the drop down menu is fighting tooth and nail at three HQ.

I still do believe this is probably one of the best deals going on any network, especially those with high data usage...
Insomniac82
22 Nov 16 #79
Have to agree with the comments above, the feel at home depends on the local network that Three partner up with.

I've only had brilliant experiences with the feel at home feature, whilst everyone around me were agonising over very high roaming charges and poor hotel wifi...

Mate wherever you go , you are using a local network . This not a problem with Three . In America you are using T-mobile or AT&T for roaming. Last time I went to us I connected my phone to T-Mobile and it was perfect. (You can choose the network manually on your phone settings)

I ought to phone then - I have been out of contract for some time and paying £20 a month for unlimited data/texts 600mins. No hotspot which I would find useful at times.
Insomniac82
22 Nov 16 #75
So as mentioned above I'm on the last day of 600min/unlimited texts/4gb for £13/m 12 month contract. Already haggled with them a month ago and demanded pac code in the hope they'd call me back with a super duper offer. They never did...

Anyway I called Three today and spoke to three different people about the links posted above. Someone from the retentions team, his manager and then someone from the cancellations team.

All three seem to have no clue about this deal. First guy kept blabbing on about third party website even though it's not. Asked to speak to manager. Manager accessed the link above, spent 10 minutes 'looking into this' and then came back saying what others have been saying, its only for those who were on a very specific deal (maybe deals) and who had been given the invite. They both offered a deal of unlimited everything (minutes/texts/data) but with 30gb cap on hotspot for 27/month but with three months free, which comes to around 21 a month, but basically you'll be left with a contract where you'll be paying 27/month and having to haggle again at the end. I said I'll take it if they offered it to me for a flat 20 quid a month (so I dont have to haggle at the end of the contract), they said they cant offer that deal, it has to be 27/month with three months free.

I refused and asked for a new pac code at which point they transferred me to the cancellation team guy (from what I understand these guys can offer you the best deals). Again directed cancellations guy to link above, he clearly wasnt aware of this either and sounded as bemused as the others but said he's definitely not permitted to offer anything like that. I threatened to complain, no reward for loyalty, took his name etc but basically best deal I got out of him was:

Unlimited minutes
Unlimited texts
30gb data - all of which is usable on hotspot and feel at home
0800 and voicemails all included.
£20/month including all the vat etc. basically not a penny over £20/month. Flat 12 months contract no free months nonsense. So basically I ended up accepting this deal.

Summary - the deal above (from the OP) is definitely NOT for new customers and definitely NOT for most existing customers either.

I was on the unlimited data, 200 minutes, 1gb hotspot, £15 a month contract, and had been for a few years. I received this email recently as my contract was coming to an end. I have now moved to the £19 a month unlimited data, unlimited minutes, 30gb a month contract using the link that was provided to me. Once I had selected the new contract I received a text confirming my choice after 3 days.

I would rather have stuck with the £15 a month contract as I don't need the unlimited minutes or extra hotspot data, but when I looked around for £19 a month it was still by far the best deal in the market.

My colleague has two sim cards with 3 (for himself and his mrs), he was paying £46 in total.

Ive recently joined Three after being with EE for a long period. Seems to me that Three make it very easy for customers to switch plans without entering a new contract.

I just switched from the £9pm essential pack to the 8GB advanced package for only £10pm. That's cheaper than what they offer on their website including the free 3 months

its probably already mentioned but I was sent the letter to say my plan was changing and it had the link in the OP for the dearest plan(simplans8), just go to the link for the cheapest (simplans6) and fill out your details...

it worked for me, I've now had confirmation both by txt and on chat that I will be charged £19pm... it's only £1pm more than I was paying and I've gained unlimited mins and an extra 24gig on my personal hotspot...

**this worked for me as I had a letter saying I was being booted off my old £18pm plan, I've no idea if it works for someone who hasn't received a letter...**

just phoned 3 to discuss my upgrade options as my contract is up for renewal. I am currently on the One Plan with a galaxy note 3 for £38 pm.

I asked what my options were & they tried to sell me a iPhone 7 with more or less the same as the above £19 pm deal for £64 with the iPhone 7.

I will in no circumstances pay that amount of money for a phone. I'm sorry 3 I think I will be leaving.

I currently have 200mins, unlimited text, ayce data and 4gb tethering for £15 a month.
The link correctly identifies my current plan.
I have gone for the £19 a month plan.
When you submit your details (name and phone number only) it comes back and says you will be informed within 5 days by text when your plan has been upgraded.
Reading through the T+Cs it does say the offer is for those specifically invited by email.
Will see what happens.

Same here. I hate 3's sales practices though. They kicked me off the One Plan, put me on a £30pcm plan, then put me on the £23 plan and now they have the same plan for £19 all for the same data/calling allowances. Talk about screwing your current customers over.....

I got a 3 sim for data abroad. In the US I couldn't get one byte of data once in one single state. I could call back to the UK but no one could call me.

In Ireland I managed to get data 1 time in every 4 attempts. Every other time it accused me of tethering.

Worked fine in France though. Next time I'll buy local sims instead.

just spoke to Three, these were sent out to customers who were on old contracts, and to get them to move to better contracts these text's were sent to them, not everyone are eligible for this deal as I just found out trying to get this deal.

My contract has finished, unlimited Data/text/mins for £26 month, they would not budge to offer me a better deal as they say I cant find a better deal out there for what I am paying.

Good luck if anyone manages it, if so please tell us so we can try and get a good deal.

I got the 30GB + ayce voice/txt last week for £20/month. Not quite ayce data but I doubt I'll ever get through 30GB. I have a recurring £9 discount on my account (it must have been £29 last week, showing £30 now) which they offered without me even asking as an incentive for me to renew my contract.

Anyone actually got this or is it a scam?
It's £32 for this deal on thier website.

I'm currently paying £18 for 200mins, Unlimited Txts, Unlimited Internet (12gb hotspot) and home from abroad.

Would be worth extra quid.....but what do you lose on new contracts?

22 Nov 16 1 #59
I tried to go for this plan online but it shows for someone who already was on £15/month with same Tariff will be upgraded to £19 new tariff. I had a brief chat about this offer to customer support they declined and said it's an old offer so cannot honour it and the chat ended up me cancelling all my contracts with three still the cheeky **** was not bothered and happily asked me to leave the network. Its a shame we cannot have this offer. STRICTLY FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE ALREADY ON £15/month Tariff mentioned on the link.

I got a previous deal that was 30gb data unlimited text and 200 mins works out an effective £8 month after cashback and for some reason three now give me unlimited data with 30gb hotspot 600 mins 2000 three to three mins and unlimited texts. I've used three at home in loads of countries including USA and have never had a problem but haven't used it for streaming. Its useful for staying connected etc but if you want to stream anything better to buy a local data sim

22 Nov 16 1 #56
I agree with one of the users, hot deal but should really state that it's for existing customers only.
smckirdy
22 Nov 16 #55
It's kind of reliant on the networks in the country being any good. US cell system isn't even simple for people in the US so it's not that surprising. When you are going abroad it's always worth checking before hand sometimes you need to connect to specific networks or change a few settings to get it to work right.
Noddydog
22 Nov 16 1 #54
For those of you using 'Feel at home' in the US and getting slow data rates, have you checked the compatibility of your device? Some Mifi's (for example) will give 3G or even 4G in Europe where we are mostly on GSM 900/1800, but only GPRS/Edge in US due to US networks being on GSM 850/1900.

Thus some devices do offer 850/1900 in GPRS/Edge as an emergency fallback, but not the whole 3G/4G expereience.

good deal but the coverage near me is terrible
hardly got 1 bar!
patg2005
22 Nov 16 #52
In addition to the above interesting comments, I have to add, "feel at home" seems to be heavily throttled on data. I have tried using it in Spain and Sri lanka this year and yes it works but even streaming UK radio is a waste of time. When it first came out streaming Radio 1 on the bus in Sri lanka (a fun experience) worked fine, now forget it!
I have now moved to Voda and will just buy data sims when i travel, which are cheap and easily available.

This is the official 3 website. There has been a run of fraud involving a lot of users details stolen from the 3 upgrade system but this is not related. The stolen details contained names addresses and telephone numbers of users so this page (which is hosted on threes own website) doesnt ask for anything fraudsters don't already have.

Can someone confirm if the links provided above are legit please?
As you are entering your data when you use this link that has no security (eg. the site is still "http" and not "https") so any information sent using the links above is insecure.
There is also no checking to see if the number entered is a legit "3" mobile number. I made one up and still got a green tick mark against it!

However, if you were to place an order direct from from three.co.uk and choose a plan from that site, when the basket goes to checkout it is over a secure connection "https".

secure three site when you look to purchase

Great deal OP.
Btw how do you understand these T&Cs:
"If you decide you want to cancel your agreement after 14 days and before the end of the minimum term of your contract, you’ll need to pay a cancellation fee (your remaining total monthly charges during the minimum term of your contract minus 3% "

So if I plan to cancel after like 6 months.... whats the "cancellation fee"? (6x19)-3%=110 GBP?

I used "feel at home" in the US recently. Well, for the 30secs or so in 3 weeks where it actually did anything - either connected to a network yet wouldn't let me do anything or just didn't bother and this was in major cities. Completely useless in the Santa Monica area. Had to rely on separate Wi-Fi sources for pretty much everything including local phone calls (after discovering you could only make US to UK calls and not local calls without adding separate credit to your plan).
Data seemed to work reasonably well in Hong Kong though.
