OK guys, there is a better option (credit Sweetcorn12). If you purchase the 'Taste of Italy SmartBox for £29.99 and use discount code MERRY at checkout it will obviously reduce the price to just £19.99 (1p saving, woohoo). The better part of this option is that the voucher is valid for 24 months as opposed to the 10 months for the Prezzo / Zizzi direct offer.

Ok, but I don't think it's ever been listed as lower than £30. There have been various discount codes that have brought it down to £24, £21.80 and £20. But I've never known it to be listed at £20 (any less than £30).

But that is obviously the price after the MERRY code has been discounted. Unless of course, it was discounted in error at time of the email. I popped it up on here at the time of email receipt and it was £30.

I got this for prezzo in October and love prezzo but the set menu for this deal is rubbish. it was just about worth the £20 . wasn't the normal prezzo menu or service either. we felt like a second class citizen in there. main meals were either a pizza or spag bol, or carbonara. dessert was plain ice cream or a tiramisu lemon cake, the cake tasted awful was ready made and not like the other sweets. We've never seen this menu before when we've visited and expected a limited menu but not one this bad...don't bother . if you want a cheap meal at prezzo stick to Tesco clubcard deal vouchers

Unfortunately I agree. The set menu tastes a bit 'cheap'. Mozzarella sticks are fatty and the sauce just tastes watered down with no flavour - not what you get when you order off the proper menu. I agree that the set menu is not up to their usual standard. I'll be trying the Zizzi offer instead

you have to book in advance you can't just go in with voucher, you book the meal through buy a gift site the day before you go. I made mistake and went along with printed voucher and they sent me away!

Did that with this offer last time.
As mentioned each voucher code requires you to redeem it by booking your dining slot via a website.
However that process offered chance to add note so I just put "will be table for 4 with another booking about to be made/just made"

If you claim an evoucher - ie with free delivery by email - then within a few minutes of your order you get an email with a link to an 'evoucher' ie a PDF which gives you three key bits of information:
- your voucher reference #
- your PIN number
- and the date the voucher expires on (ie 2 years hence with the Taste of Italy - Smartbox)
You then have to use the reference # and PIN on their website to make the meal reservation in advance.
ie you can not just turn up and claim the set menu meal, you must prebook online via their website using the # & PIN.

As I recollect they also ask you to print the e-voucher and take it along with you, but I can't swear to that.

I have just downloaded the Prezzo voucher, unfortunately, you can't use it between 1st December and 1st January, which is a bit annoying as I wanted to go this weekend.

It is for a set menu :-
Starters -
Garlic Bread
Bruschetta
Butternut squash & rosemary soup
Mozzarella in Carrozza

Main:-
Margherita pizza
Vesuvio Pizza
Red pepper & goats cheese pizza
Penne Arrabbiata
Spaghetti Bolognese
Spaghetti Carbonara
Caesar Salad

Dessert -
Bannofee tiramisu
Ice cream
Sticky toffee pudding.

You have to print out your voucher, then book a table through Bookatable. It says that you have to print out both your voucher and bookatable confirmation email and take them to the restaurant.

Quidco won't pay out if you use the £10 off code. The Prezzo set menu is limited and uninspiring. It's OK at £10 per head but frankly if you're booking outside the usual voucher exclusion periods you'd be better off choosing a pizza you actually want with a glass of wine and using a money offer code/ voucher.

I didnt book as we went to london for the day and wasnt sure what time we would get up there, popped into Haymarket branch and asked if there was any chance of atable as we hadnt booked. We were sat at a lovely table, and told we did need to boom but we could do it whilst we sat in there, booked on phone & they got an email through with the booking in less than 5 minutes. Great service, lovely food, highly recommended x

I couldn't agree more. the selection is really bad . I know you are eating for less than just a normal person booking but surely it makes sense to offer a little bit more to entice the customer back. On the plus the restaurant is a nice setting.

You are better getting the special selection from Tesco and treating yourself to a nice bolognose and pizza and fancy pudding!

Good deal though if you just want to get out the kitchen for the night!

Purchased last time this came out and it was great. I booked via Bookatable and found the whole process very easy. We mainly used them at Prezzo in Bath and we used two at a time with our teenage sons. The restaurant was happy to swap the wine for a non-alcoholic beverage.
Heat added.
PS - QUIDCO has tracked (4x £3.96). Will be interesting to see if it reaches payable? But great deal at £20 even if it doesn't.

I love Zizzi and they are great if you need Veggie or Vegan options. We went to the London Central St Giles a few weeks back and we loved it - It looks like quite a new restaurant, but has great ambiance.

Unfortunately, I don't think you can get the cashback on top of the £10 discount :-(

T&Cs state that cashback will only be paid in conjunction with codes posted on TCB website; of which there are none, currently. Using code 'MERRY' will thus result in the cashback not being honoured.

One could use the Quidco code 'Q20CM' for 20% off AND receive 18% cashback, but the 'MERRY' code will provide the greatest discount in this case...

Quidco cash back tracked last time I bought this, was declined last week.
Used voucher in Zizzi Glasgow city center, def treated like 2nd class citizen. Pizza served on white round plate, other diners were served pizza on flint type boards, dessert was also served differently, smaller portions. Definitely cheaper courses, served very basic, felt v underwhelmed, wouldn't go back.
Tried prezzo in Belfast, much nicer experience.

For those debating about TCB cashback. I have placed at least a dozen orders over the years and it ALWAYS tracks but ALWAYS reverts to 0.00p because of using a code.

Pleased to report differing experiences:
£20 order on TCB in Sep 2016 when buyagift did similar £10 off & long ago got paid TCB £2.82.
Order via Quidco the same day (as 4 of us were going to dine out ie needed 2 vouchers) - already got £2.40 paid out on that too.
So as always don't count on getting cashback, but try for it: what's the worst that could happen?

I am done with buyagift. I bought one of these "3 course meals" last year and the voucher says it is valid until 26th December. However on the second page, which I never checked until I printed the voucher off today, says you cannot use it between 1st December - 1st January. So the voucher isn't valid until 26th December if you can't actually use it! Thanks very much for that.
