I've gone and done it again. It's Tuesday. The Xbox Deals with Gold are live, this week's top 10 games have been revealed (Battlefront has actually made it back into the top 10, so some of you must be buying it) and as if by magic, CDKeys have some great prices on Xbox and PlayStation credit.
I've been playing Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2 (curse you, EA) and Forza Horizon 3 this week in-between small bursts of the Skyrim: Special Edition.
Surprisingly (although I haven't played it) Infinite Warfare has made its way to number one, I can of course only assume that's to get the hands on the Modern Warfare Remaster.
I'm also going to include this week's Steam 'Weeklong Deals' and add some CDKeys deals into the equation.
As with always, if you do find any of these titles cheaper elsewhere, please do let me know so we can help each other.
Happy gaming guys

Probably a little gratitude. Wether it's my 'job' or not, as I have from day one of signing up to HUKD, I've provided these links to help people try to save money with their gaming purchases.
You however are now on week two of your little moan, chill out, relax and don't get so worked up. If you have time, share a deal with us, we'd welcome it with open arms. I'll be back next week to compose all the weekly gaming deals into one easily accessible thread whether or not you like it can be determined with the little hot/cold options at the top of the page
Have a great day, sicmay. Thanks for stopping by again.
Added Starcraft II 2: Heart of the Swarm (PC/Mac) today's daily deal into CDKeys. (£4.74 with FB code)
You being paid to do this or not, Buzz, is irrelevant to me. Excellent thread and you've saved me many a pound on this site. Excellent time to pick up Xbox live credit with the Black Friday deals now up, sweeeet! Good job

I didn't know Buzz was paid, I assumed it was like on forums when they have mods/admin... volunteers.. like the special police but without the attitude and power complex... (in most cases)....
either way not sure it matters... a deal is a deal if you think its a deal... I suspect everyone has different biting points and some only pop on once a week, I'm all for having all the best deals in one place.

I literally do not know why so many people come on here and complain/moan constantly. its a free website/service that could help save you money, if you dont like the deal / offer... don't take it, if you really feel the need... vote it cold. But stop whining!! so what if the person that works for HUKD posts a deal... the reason to upvote a deal is not to just give credit to the person posting it, it's to tell others its a good deal. this is how the trending/hot deals get surfaced.
Good post Buzz, keep it up

But it would be simpler and more accurate to say that these games are for Windows rather than for PC. A Mac is a PC too...it's a personal computer, not a mainframe. These days you could actually argue that phones and tablets are PCs and desktops are something else since the word "personal" would seem to apply more to a computer that you carry around rather than one that sits on your desk.
I thought that Steam themselves would be more keen on using correct terminology since they have their "Steam OS" yet I see the word "PC" used instead of "Windows" even on the Steam store.
I don't feel like I'm missing out, I support my operating system and don't wish to use software which isn't written for it. Also, KVM is much better than VirtualBox, especially if you're wanting to attempt to get anything involving a graphics card working decently, never tried it but I believe it now has full pass through of the graphics card. Remember by saying "just run a VM" you are also assuming that I have or am willing to buy a Windows license which makes the games a lot more expensive, frankly none of them are worth that expense/effort. Gaming isn't a big thing for me, I play them occasionally when I feel like it and have time, I have more than enough Linux compatible games in Steam. Most of the really popular Windows-only games are rubbish anyway, more like interactive movies than games as the focus is on graphics and making it easy so that sensitive kids don't cry because it's too difficult....I'll go for nethack over any of those games
Many of us use Linux for ethical reasons and take a stance of activism when it comes to promoting the OS and the freedom that it provides. Steam and the games available on it are both a positive and negative for us, they're proprietary and "protected" by DRM but it does bring more people to Linux. Fed up of all those "Linux version?" threads on Steam forums? GOOD

Maybe because tf2 on PC is still pretty popular.
Even if Titanfall 2 went free to play it would never get those numbers. It's worth getting on ps4 though. Great single player campaign. It's got a loyal player base(they made a great console shooter) so will still have a small loyal following playing for a while. All the dlc is free so the player base won't segment as well. I think it might do a Rainbow Six siege and actually grow the player base if they put out some decent offers over the holiday season.

I've just noticed over the course of time since its release that the games are becoming more and more harder to find. When I first started playing you would most instantly be dropped into a game. Now you can actually hear people in the lobbies requesting people for games "If anybody's interested, I'll be setting up an attrition soon".
It's not surprising given that the recorded number of players for Titanfall 2 were reported to be just a mere 2% of the numbers playing Battlefield 1. At the end of the day, if players are going to jump ship from one game to another then it'll be from Infinite Warfare, because nobody in their right mind is dropping Battlefield 1, it has longevity, just like all of them have

Please allow me to point out my intention wasn't to 'alienate' anybody, but also try to understand it from my point of view. You are free to feel whatever you like about these posts as I have previously mentioned, but know that it takes a lengthy amount of time to compose these kinds of threads, they're not something I do often as the upkeep is kinda hard and consistent.
I appreciate that you have a dislike for them, as you also mentioned last time in the thread, but the idea was simply just to get the best pricing for the current UK top 10 games, get all the CDKeys deals, Xbox Games with Gold listings, Steam 'Weeklong Deals' and possibly any other gaming related content (Wuaki) into one thread for people to access, a go to thread if you like.
It was never intended to offend anybody, in fact the aim was the complete opposite.

15 Nov 16#48
The hot/cold is to express a good deal not 'gratitude' - otherwise it undermines the point of the site (from a users perspective- for HUKD and its staff its about commissions obviously). Maybe the site needs some kind of gratitude feature.
I said I didn't understand it - I wasn't 'moaning' or getting 'worked up'- but if you want to alienate site users that's a good way to talk to them (I am moaning now). For the record I already submit deals a number of places, including occasionally here, but HUKD isnt the only site (Reddit is good, and there are numerous Facebook pages/groups and twitter feeds).
