You wake up, alone, on a strange island full of puzzles that will challenge and surprise you.
You don't remember who you are, and you don't remember how you got here, but there's one thing you can do: explore the island in hope of discovering clues, regaining your memory, and somehow finding your way home.
The Witness is a single-player game in an open world with dozens of locations to explore and over 500 puzzles. This game respects you as an intelligent player and it treats your time as precious. There's no filler each of those puzzles brings its own new idea into the mix. So, this is a game full of ideas.

This has nothing on Braid and the reason for the price point is due to how much of his own money and time Jonathan Blow put into it...
I really wanted to like this but it's a pretty puzzle game with an island to explore but beyond that it is nothing. The puzzles get tedious and frustrating after a while but it does look nice!

If you are remotely interested in this game then buy it now, you won't regret it. It's easily worth the full price.

Just a word of warning, I got a crazy amount of motion sickness from playing this game. I occasionally get motion sickness from playing FPS on the PC. But this was something else. They did release an update to reduce it but I didn't really go back.

think i'll wait till to see if it goes under £10. curious as to why this game is double the price of most indie games, think that's why im hesitant to buy it.

14.99 for a £2 mobile puzzle game with an island to walk around. Ill wait for free on PS Plus. In all seriousness though this game looks great its just not for me - heat

Kinda in a similar mindset.
I do want to play this game - but not enough to spend £15. I have a backlog anyway so here's hoping it goes PS+ in the future.

oh It won't be live yet, sorry. The only thing you can do is check 'all games', until around 7am? maybe mid-day? then there will be an official thing to find them all

Yess! I'm looking right now, and a few are Hard Reset £7.99. Abzu £7.99. ADR1FT £6.49. Headlander £6.49. Inside £7.39. etc etc. These kinda make up for the weak Black Friday one :stuck_out_tongue:

Great price! Although nearly a year on so a drop was inevitable.
