Now I'm confused if Nathan is right or johnny lol. I already have two copies of the base game guys and paid for docs separately! I'll only get this if it helps cutting back on size of HDD for me. Please be accurate? :smile:

Just to let everyone know; The Witcher 3 GOTY Not Compatible With Previous Console Saves
Wow even Achievements/Trophies are in a separate list?! That's pretty crap, basically negating my 60+ hour launch experience if I chose to purchase the GOTY version :disappointed:
It's geared a bit too much towards the newcomer and not past players of the game wanting to jump in to experience the DLC.

Have you tried doing a Start+? Can't remember which order I did all mine in but I started with base game only then added DLC then finished and did a New game+ you start with all your inventory, stats etc but all the enemies are scaled up to match.
It's quite an interesting game then
Shame the GOTY isn't compatible with the original game+dlc that's pants

As far as I know, the GOTY editions (physical/digital) aren't compatible with vanilla game saves.
Which indeed sucks as I wanna play the DLC with my max level Geralt and don't want to play through it all again... just yet.

It says on the back of the box to allow space of 50gb and disc. But the download I did from the disc was 39gb.
Edit: and yes the GOTY edition.
