I got one of these today. the cigar box is cardboard which wasn't a good start. probably my fault I just assumed it was wood.

it's cheap (obviously) but not cheerful. the electrics are really poor (obviously) and are not only quiet but it feeds back at any decent volume from the amp.

unamplified it sounds thing and rather dull. The slide is made from thin glass so adds no glassy tone, if anything it adds to the dull sound.

good job it's cheap but I'm taking it back tomorrow and i think I'll make a decent one myself.

hopefully others will enjoy it but for me it was pretty unenjoyable.

just my opinion of course. I'm sure others have had many hours of fun from it. :smiley:
