You may not care, but other people might. If people want to spend more for boxset packaging then fine, but if I've helped just one person who just wants the films, then I think my post is worthwhile.

Cheaper if you buy the individual cases (BB & DK £5.45 + DKR £4.99 = £10.44)!

Maybe so but that isn't the special box set with a book and all in one neat box.

No UV, cheap reissued case. Also as mentioned can potentially be had cheaper individually (probably with digital copies).
This should be no more than a tenner by now.

Cold, £12 is too much. I picked up Dark Knight Rises for a £1 from eBay.

Perhaps but it's also one of the cheapest looking boxsets around

Agreed. I actually bought the boxset, but swapped it for the individual cases because 1. Taking off the backing paper left white tear marks on the box, 2. the "book" was not much good, plus there was some silly polystyrene in there, 3. Trays contained overlapping discs which I hate, and 4. It wasn't obvious what disc was what film!
Pretty OCD I'll admit, but I'm happier with the swing trayed individual cases. The only thing that bugs me now is to store Batman Begins with the other "B"s, or keep it with the two Dark Knight films in "D"!!

From the most recent review ... (the book edition has been oop a while now)

I'm actually referring to the latest set which is housed in wafer thin card. The book edition went oop a while back

Fair enough, it was a while ago. LOL! If the review quote above is correct ("The Blu ray cases are your standard lovely looking cases") then it's quite ironic that you're actually getting three individually cased films anyway. Oh, plus the thin cardboard of course.
