Found this in Oldham Poundland and they also have it for the 6 & 6s as well as the 6+ 6s+. As it's signalex it should be available nationwide. I've just got a new phone case so I needed it.

I thought the idea was that they prevent scratches on your screen, nothing to do with protecting the screen if you drop the phone?

it is mainly to prevent scratches while maintaining the feel of the original screen, however it will help to dissipate some of the impact of a drop under certain conditions and is, therefore, an extra layer of protection when combined with a case.

It's not totally infallible. When I dropped my iPhone 6 Plus last year I broke the protector and the phone screen but all that tells me is that 'glass breaks when dropped' - it will reduce the chance of total failure but not remove it. At the end of the day you can't expect a 0.3mm piece of glass to absorb all the energy from an impact...

Same here, I took off the screen cover and the phone screen was actually broken.

you get an air gap on the edge of the screen on the 6 and 6S with these. Oddly the Plus model screen protectors fit perfectly.
In case anyone was wondering - as mentioned above - these will fit the 7 and 7 Plus absolutely fine other than a slight overlap on the mic. It's nothing major though.

Waste of money. Had this for a week. Trapped dirt and dust under the edges and cut my thumb on the home button!

Seriously, I bought a cheap tempered protector and it saved my phone , then I bought a more expensive one with bevelled edges and slightly thinner and very glad I pay the extra . The cheap one had a rather poor finish at the edges . The little bits of dust seem to be creeping underneath slightly .
Great deal for the 6, a tempered glass screen is a must for any IPhone or IPad.

Shatter proof means they don't break into shards not that they won't break!
I got these yesterday and they will just about fit the 7 fine. There is a fraction of overlap on the earpiece as the one on the 7 is wider but we are talking less than 1mm.

been thru a few of these, sadly the last time both screen and protector broke, and Iphone screens have risen sharply in price in the last month :disappointed:
dunno why they say shatter proof they are clearly not, but I'd rather have a £1 protector break instead of my phone screen

These are great! My son dropped his phone on concrete during his first week in high school. Came home all upset he'd smashed his screen... went to remove the screen cover and his phone screen was immaculate! Well worth the £1 spend!

I can also vouch for these. On my second one as like ur son, dropped my phone & screen smashed. Took it off & perfect underneath.
