It appears the 5% discount was expired for all students on the 31st October, you can double check this by logging into your NUS account and searching for amazon

I thought I was the only one going through this crap! I was using my student discount up until the 31st October, spoken to Amazon loads of times who saybto contact NUS for a code, NUS say they don't know if and when the promotion will be renewed.

I spoke to NUS this week, and Amazon pulled the 5% offer. You can still get half-price 'student' Prime.
Apparently they might do more item-specific discounts (like this one, I guess) but the 5% is gone.
The prices are already 50% off (or there about) adding the code took a further £1.92 off a £38.39 spend! Basically thats 5% - which they've just taken off.
