There is 9 in stock in Crawley. They will not lower the price until there is 2-4 in stock. The member of staff I spoke to said they wouldnt drop it any lower then £50 but they need to sell a few more first.

Bargin price, unfortunately not the same price in Oldbury West Midlands. Will hold back to see if it's reduced further. Seems like random prices at each store.

been into the Nottingham stores a lot recently but not seen anything this good. Stanley drills aren't in stock any more and I think went at the 63ish price according to staff in store

I was met with the same comments, not playing at all, said something along the lines of the stores were run almost along the lines of a franchise so it was up to each store how much they wanted to discount..... but also that if there is less than £300 worth of an item in stock then they are free to halve the price.

my local store have moved all their clearance stock to one side but not budging on the price!

keep going back... as far as I can tell each shop is doing it and discounting as and when they need the space for the new lines comming in to replace them, so if you think about it if your new lines arnt in, why would you sell out all your drills at mega cheap prices... so as the new stock is getting around the country each store starts to run short on space and has to discount.... I should add mine have been a pita, but they do drop eventually so keep going back regularly if local...if Not :disappointed: Tough I'm afraid :disappointed:
those £109 drill sets were £82 in mine.... but the F30's that sold out Friday @£30 were restocked Saturday at full price rofl... you couldn't make it up....

Not "hit and miss" at all. I bought a 18v drill for £ 63.03, then saw a post on here with a receipt showing it was sold at £ 29.99. I downloaded the receipt and a "price match" promise from Homebase website. Went into my local store, told them what it was sold (£ 29.99) no more question asked, they REFUNDED me the difference. Two of my friends then took a copy of my receipt, went into the store, different one to the one that refunded me, got the same Fatmax drill for £ 29.99 too!

it is hit and miss I took that same receipt into my local Homebase and they would only price match to the nearest store not one from Southampton and when they looked at the receipt they said that as it was showing as being price matched on the receipt to yet another store they wouldn't match it to that anyway. That receipt is no longer on that thread.

Manager at my store would only go down 50% and not price match even though I explained their policy. She exclaimed it was up to that store and she would do that. What use is a price match policy? So if someone can upload a receipt that would be great.

I've asked a few stored in Hertfordshire and they said with a proof of purchase (receipt) they will price match. Waiting for someone to upload a receipt before I head back in store now.

if you look at other homebase threads once there's only a few left of the clearance stock they discount it heavily to get it off the shelf. one of the Derby staff members confirmed this as well. so it really is pot luck.
