13mm is the diameter of the drill bit you can use, not the depth it goes in.

Nice drill. I believe Argos is end of lifing it. Still a good drill! But that's the reason for the 'better than half price' side of things.

Is this the same model that was selling in Homebase for various prices between £30-60?

Is that the hammer drill? I've seen the drill driver at that price with two 1.3amp batteries. I bought this hammer drill with 2 x 2 amp batteries, really good kit.

Guys what use is a hammer action that only goes 13 mm into metal or masonary.
Any normal drill can do that. This is not a hammer action drill.

Hi Fireplace,
I bought this drill about a year ago and it's been really good for all sorts of jobs, was fine drilling 8mm holes in brick. Found it's limit trying to drill 10mm holes in stone and had to get a proper SDS.

My mistake. It does say 13mm into metal or masonary in the description if you care to read it

No, it says the maximum drilling capacity is 13mm into masonry. Which means you can drill a 13mm-wide hole into masonry.
