The inside shelves are very cheap and flimsy, I recommend you guys go for a better brand for an American fridge freezer

Oh really? Just replacing a Beko fridge freezer that has broken in just under 2 years. Had really nice glass shelves but a cheap black plastic exterior. So are you saying this has just plastic shelves?
Cheers

Should last longer than 2 years, put in an out of warranty claim.

Just checked online and it has glass shelves, can't be that bad I imagine?

Not familiar with an out of warranty claim, however the compressor has broken

I'd email them saying that under the sales of goods act electrical items should last a reasonable amount of time, and you don't think that 2 years is a reasonable amount of time for a fridge freezer. Therefore you would like to open an out of warranty claim.

Excellent value at this price. Especially given I paid twice this amount for mine (made by LG). Heat given.
The "spend £100 get £10" promotion has finished mate... I work for Argos.

I looked at this myself. Dixons/currys sell exactly the same one but it has a Kenwood label on it for £10 less.
I know about the Bush brand - they produce cheap throw away poor quality products - radios, tvs etc. All have the common denominator - cheap and poor quality. My guess these are bad - I went on an engineers forum and they confirmed my view. They use very low grade components - which is why this has a relatively poor energy rating and also poor noise insulation. If you are spending this much money on something spend a little more for something better.
