As an owner since it came out I can tell you this watch is more than a gimmick. I use it as a dictation device, google voice prompt, fitness tracker, sleep tracker, all notifications, games (currently playing 'Infinity'), picture browser etc. I have an Xperia Z5 Premium device but I don't think any of this is exclusive to xperia owners so this watch is a great device. Also it says water 'resistant' but I've swam with this in pool and sea water several times without issues. Just waiting for the metal band to be cheaper and getting that :smile:

Whilst I'm sure they're good for something. I have found the clasp of the strap makes it relatively useless for any activity that involves you moving your arm in any, way, shape or form, which for an activity tracker is pretty limiting.

Just bend the tag a little if it's too loose. I play drums and it doesn't come off.

£74.95 with free delivery from the Argos eBay outlet. They are described as refurbished but mine and others turned up brand new. They have 12 months warranty too.

I have had one for 12 Months and paid this price. I can really recommend it.
No need to pay the extortionate prices some manufacturers are charging for smart watches.

What puzzles me, this looks a good deal for £80 and it is rated currently HOT 216*. The equivalent Apple product 4 weeks ago made 833* and that was 2.5 times the price at £200.
How does that work then?

Deals are rated in comparison to the average price, not on what you get. A phone could usually be £600, but a store has it on sale for £480 with a 20% discount. This would be a better deal and deserves more heat than a post with a phone that usually costs £300 for £270 even though it is more expensive. In the Apple Watch's case, it used to retail for £259 and £299, and Argos had it £199 - this is a better deal that this one where it is based off of convenience. Unfortunately, it's not about the quality or type of products, it's about it's relative price and the people who want it.

I don't own one but after seeing a new one for sale on Gumtree at £35 (missed out unfortunately) I did a bit of research. Everything I read was excellent. General consensus is that this is a great piece of kit.

Picked one up before from currys before they closed as I've wanted a smart watch for a bit but wasnt sure how much I'd use one so the lower price point sold it to me plus the good reviews too.

For anyone that owns this watch is there anyway to respond to whatsapp messages directly from the watch as I cant see the option on the watch for whatsapp or is it basically just to get the whatsapp notifications

just gone one, superb bit of kit, you can answer the WhatsApp messages from it ok, and having just ran a half marathon with one as my GPS tracker, never came off?

Thanks, just makes it easier in work as saves getting my phone out when it vibrates to see what notifications have come through and if I need to reply to a message I can do it directly from the watch

Looking to get this for that reason. Phone's too big to take out. Do you use it as a music player? I presume you can run a tracker app and music at the same time but haven't seen it confirmed anywhere.

My only comment about this smart watch is that the screen resolution looks quite bad. Apart from that, great watch.

I had one for 6 months, and swapped if for a LG G watch R which is still going strong.

It is a great phone with good battery life.
The screen is great in sunlight, but the colours are washed out when illuminated.

Wasn't mad about the non induction charging and having to use a lead in the back of the watch but did see this which i thought was a great idea...(can use for anything which is micro usb)
