Saw one in Currys this lunchtime, the watch-face is pretty big compared to the average oldskool mens' watch, but it's so tempting for £70 for something that can do Strava without tethering to a phone with MP3 etc.
The last few weeks of tech dilemma would have been so much easier if I could justify buying a SSW3 and a Motorola G4, sadly I need to choose one or the other!

OP, Can you please update the post to reflect the 69.99 is for a used one and not new. I cannot find the new one for that price on Amazon. Currys are doing the new one for 69.99 and there is another post about that on HUKD.

Based on some of the "out of stock" comments, maybe it was available at that price earlier? But either it needs an update to say "used", or it's expired.

I got one the other week from PC World for 79.99 but took it back as it kept randomly restarting and the GPS didn't work as accurately as I required. I've not seen anyone have the restarting issue like I did so mine was most likely just a faulty unit but as far as smart watches go(restarting fault aside) it was excellent.

I got one for £80 and mainly for the gps side of things (Ghostracer for cycling using strava). The battery does last for a few days and charges very quickly too.
If its does get Android Wear 2, then it will be relevant for a year or two more before being thrown on the technology heap in the kitchen I guess.

I paid about £60 with a very voucher 10 months ago, Fantastic watch works well with android. Not had any problems (so far) and lasts 2 days but I don't hammer it just read text app notifications and the odd space invader game. Loads of watch faces to choose on Facer app free. Well worth the money.

The stainless steel version actually looks good, but obviously not as this cheap, its a good deal for the hardware, though it's not yet confirmed whether this is getting android ware 2.0, but hopefully it does. Battery life lasts for almost 2 days, with constant alerts, but it charges relly quickly, a 30 minute charge will make it full again

mine has always last several days no issues without needing to charge very happy with it

The big draw of this model for me was the transflective display. Transmissive = uses backlight (like most displays), reflective = uses ambient light (like e-ink in a kindle), transflective = does both. It does depend on smart usage though, like turning the backlight off in bright sunlight to save power and get the same visibility.

I know it's Android but is it compatible with iPhone?

It does work with iOS but with limited functions. I paired mine with an iPhone 6s and all notifications seem to come through fine but don't expect rich app integration like Android.

Getting long in the tooth now but seems cheap for what you are getting. Lots of great androidware apps talked about here :

Surely worth £70 just for the Gps fitness stuff?
