Ordered mine on Saturday and had my dispatch (DPD) confirmation email yesterday. I managed to order the vr unit on its own, they were going in and out of stock all day on Saturday so might still be worth checking for anybody who is still looking for one.

I ordered on Friday and just shipped this afternoon, I never got the usual order confirmation email from them. They've been popping in and out of stock all weekend at ShopTo.

As i posted earlier in the week they are preorder but are way less than eBays crazy prices. When i suggested that they were selling for £180 on ebay i was basically called a liar
Very say they have stock but it looks like it's actually a pre order for delivery in march 2017

I don't get it either. This is a deals site, if death himself was selling something cheaper than everyone else it's still a hot deal regardless. Some people just vote things cold based on whether they like the store or not which is not how this site should work.

Yeah, in regards to playing non VR games with it, it's not really worth it. I though Alien Isolation with this and headphones would be great, but the visual downgrade really is quite poor, and there's a judder which makes it really uncomfortable to play.
As for the launch line up, I would agree, there's some great games there. But yeah, you burn through them quickly. Job Simulator was the highlight for me, but you can finish it in 2 hours, and there's really no replayability. Eve was great fun, but it's basically just 5 campaign missions, then multiplayer on a limited number of maps and gametypes. Batman can be finished in 90 minutes. There are great games, but once you burn through the launch lineup, there isn't too much on the horizon other than Resi 7.

Technically yes you could and it sounds good in theory but trust me you really don't want to. There is a significant downgrade viewing it on the VR headset.
PSVR actually has a better launch line-up of games than pretty much any new hardware release in terms of quality, usually you see fairly mediocre games but PSVR has quite a few games with good to excellent reviews.
Main issue is that most of them a fairly short experiences rather than big fully fledged games. The immersion is incredible when done right, the Resident Evil VR demo really is terrifying on whole other level.

Sold mine today to CEX for £299. Don't regret buying it at all, played Batman, Job Simulator, Eve and a few of the smaller experience games, but I haven't used it in about a month, and apart from Resident Evil 7 there really isn't anything coming out soon which piques my interest.
Not trying to put people off from buying it, it's a great piece of hardware and I have had alot of fun with it, but I would suggest people have a look at the line-up and see if there's enough there to justify buying it now. I'll most likely buy one again somewhere down the line when there's a much wider catalogue of games available for it. Couldn't justify leaving it in my wardrobe gathering dust for months.

The bigger problem is finding move controllers and not paying way over the odds on ebay.
