Two stereo P1's in a medium sized lounge, sound amazing!

most of the sonos range is reduced. The play bar is £539 and the sub is the same price. I don't have the sub but just about to have my first child so imagine it would spend it's life switched off! bass travels!

gutted this was the one thing I wanted from the black Friday sales! it's on my notifications but hukd alerts always come through too late!!!

Noticed the link has gone and no sight of Sonos on the site, suspect that this was an error....

Was in currys last night & they had the play:5 on display. Must say I was in awe of the sound that was coming from it. Just a shame they are so dam expensive. Came home raving about it to the Mrs I find it that good. Was wanting a cheap TV for the bedroom but if I could of picked this deal up the telly would have waited to next year.

Odd how Sonos is no longer listed at all on their site. I'll wait for an email to come through to say my orders been cancelled.

Odd indeed... the discount is too specific to be an error I think.
Maybe they just weren't supposed to have it live now but tomorrow so the fastest way to prevent any other ppl buying it was to unlist the products.

Listed again now but still OOS. Probably has a safety setting within the site that removes a listing if it experiences unusually high volumes of traffic.

Nope!! It's reported by other users too.

I have a Play:5 which is awesome, no issues. The general view is the sound is good for a speaker this size, which isn't true since there's much better out there. Truplay also makes the problem worse.

I purchased a Monitor Audio S200 in the end for £160 and it blows the Play:1 completely out the water.

I've had the same issue. Apparently there were so many orders!

Apologies to everyone still awaiting delivery of their Sonos order, we are trying to rectify this situation as quickly as possible and have escalated this issue with our suppliers who are due to provide us with another update tomorrow morning, which we will communicate accordingly.

We fully understand the frustration this issue has caused (particularly on the run up to Christmas) which is sincerely regrettable and apologise for the inconvenience.

In addition to addressing the stock situation, we have increased our staffing levels to assist with the queries being received and apologise to anyone that has not yet received an update which is being addressed.

Sonos Update

Following further discussions with our supplier it has become apparent that whilst it was always our expectation to be able to fulfill every order pre-Christmas, we are frustratingly no longer able to guarantee that this is the case. Sonos continue to work extremely hard in an attempt to meet our requirements but sadly on the back of unprecedented demand for the Sonos Play 1 in white and black over the Black Friday Weekend, it is becoming increasingly unlikely that they will satisfy 100% of our requirements this side of Christmas for these two lines.

As a consequence we would fully understand if any customer would prefer us to process a cancellation of their order which will in turn release any funds which may have been held to complete the order with us. Of course if any customers are happy to continue to wait for their purchase at this market leading price we will continue to work hard with the supplier to complete the order as quickly as we possibly can.

We will be contacting all customers to advise of this situation.

In the meantime, Oldrids & Downtown would like to apologise for this matter and the frustration that this may have caused.
