Yeah, fitted mine this weekend in the PS4 after only being able to pick up Friday evening due to the slow delivery by Argos! Anyways works perfectly well and stuck the 500gb back in this casing for an external backup on my PC.

Yes it does. I bought one for a PS4 hard drive upgrade and the 2tb drive is the same drive as in that pic. I've swapped mine over no problem and it seems to be working fine.

Cracked mine open. Took about 10 seconds with a guitar plectrum. Easiest dismantle ever and no visible damage to the casing. Mine does not have a Samsung drive in it. Seems like these are Seagate branded now.

Yes I believe so, just be polite and explain to them that your reservation was for £44.99 and show them the print out. It shouldn't be a problem. Both times, the manager had to get involved to override the system and alter the price so if you get nowhere with the cashier ask to see the shop manager.

Hey guys, I bought this from Argos last month for £62. I bought it for my PS4. It is definitely USB 3.0 (says so on the right side of the box at the bottom) and fits in the PS4 with room to spare. I've noticed slightly faster load speeds also which is a bonus. I could get my thumb nail into the housing, then put a credit card in the opening and slid along, opening it quite easily. Got my standard PS4 HDD in the case which clipped back together nicely without the need for glue. Definitely would recommend this to anyone wanting to upgrade their console.

Stock all around me. Makes a change. Took 3 goes and froze on cc payment but Paypal went through. Still have to wait 5 days so don't understand the oos reponses others are getting as these are seemingly coming from some central depot to individual stores.

Anyone know how to cancel the reservations rather than the orders? I feel bad as at first I didn't add the AV, then did it again with the AV, and only then noticed that it was just collect in 5 days so thought I'd best do it again but pay now. No option to cancel the former reservations only the paid for order.

Alternatively, anyone else in Derby who wants the reservation codes just message me? Each code for 2 drives though, not one.

I'm in a pretty good position to be able to answer some questions. I have this drive in my ps4 pro, I've noticed no noticeable difference between the original pro harddrive and this one.

As others have mentioned its easy to open the case without too much damage (youtube guides a plenty) and put the old ps4 hard drive in it to use as an external. However it does void the warranty doing this obviously. 99% of the time when you open the case inside the drive is actually a samsung unit, which is available to be elsewhere for a higher price...

And thing I'll add is this one does have the tendency to make the odd noise and beep, strangely when powering down. I believe this is a known issue but doesn't affect functionally as far as I'm aware!

I have to agree, I'm running 10 Seagate drives in a Plex server, zero failures yet. Compare that with a pair of WD Red's I had in there for less than 2 years which both went faulty near simultaneously.

I have this exact 2TB HDD and it is USB 3 & USB 2. Love it so much that already ordered another 2 of them.

I used a 3tb seagate for my xbox one and it caused nothing but issues won't use seagate ever again terrible drives with high failure rates. there's a reason they are so cheap compared to others even when not on sale

am not 100% sure but I would say yes. It is simple hard drive with USB so don't see a reason why it would not work with a Mac.
