This is my first post so apologies if it is not correct. Our washing machine has died and my wife wanted me to find a 9kg machine with a 5 year warranty asap and I came across this deal from Tesco which seems pretty good. Was £459 but £367.20 with Ecoupon code TDX-HJKT (20% off - expires 20/11/16). 2 year warranty comes as standard. You will have to redeem the extra 3 years online within 90 days of purchase by completing an online registration form - http://www.samsung.com/uk/fiveyearwarranty/onlineregistration.html. Hope this helps someone else.
You had me worried there for a minute migavupe until I saw that this related to top loading machines

No that's for TOP LOADING in Australia NOT the UK models.
Washing machine is top notch, loads of different programmes, the longer programmes recalculate time once you press go if it's got less washing in so saving time & money.
Setting up 5 year warranty takes 2 minutes & you can then print certificate off.
Have also found you can use much less washing stuff for a good result, have worked out you can use about half as much as recommended on the packaging.
Bonus points for the little tune it plays when it finishes, oh & it uses a proper door lock not a thermal door interlock so when was ends the door is released immediately.

Consumer Product Safety Commission on Wednesday, September 28, to issue a warning about certain top-loading machines made between March 2011 and April 2016. Only top-loaders are affected, not front-loading Samsung washers

Our washing machine died and we needed a replacement. This was on offer at curry for £399 (we saw it on a hotukdeals post) and decided to buy.
Really pleased with it. - have registered for the 5 year warranty.
Thanks. My Bosch is showing a F:21 code, so will attempt to change the brushes, if that doesn't work, i'll have a look at this :innocent:

Get Mrs Stevie one of these and tell her to be grateful. I also have the telephone number of a good divorce lawyer if you need it.

The only problem with this washing machine is the slow wash times. But for the price have heat.

Often the wash time displayed isn't how long it takes, have found if less than a full load in there the time drops upon start, the time will disappear with flashing lines showing then it'll spin the drum & then show a much shorter time. Only happens on the long washes.
Tbh 99% of the time we use the 1 hour quick wash, even on the kids filthy clothes still gets them perfectly clean

I have an older, non-bubble machine, and it is the BEST washer I have ever had - quieter, washes better and spins the clothes dryer than anything, even though it isnt the fastest spin in the world.

I bought the same machine. .however this machine and most likely other Samsung/LG models will suffer from a symptom called water hammer. since installing the machine every wash is plagued by an almighty banging/rattling of the pipes around the house. it actually felt like there was someone upstairs it was that loud. a bit of research revealed it is not uncommon and I need this to sort the banging out
I'm waiting to be shot down in flames but - am contemplating a new washing machine but am a tight as a crabs chuff. I'm still using a Bosch I bought second hand on fleabay for fifty quid around 15 years ago. The bearings are a tad noisy and the rubber has perished around the door so I'm thinking of going all crazy and buying new. So, my question is, is this Samsung worth the extra money over this Beko? (ducks as the insults fly)
don't know what type of water filling system you have got for toilet cistern.
if your toilet cistern use ball valve, should give it a try.
we use to have water hammering, plumber got rid of the problem by using the ball valve repair kit on one of the cistern. that cure the problem.

I'm bit wary nowadays to buy Samsung products to be honest !!! First phones and now washing machines. Samsung have recalled 2.8million of washing machines in US I know it's not this model but still!!!!
Don't know why they have to pack explosives in em all!!

Fantastic, thank you! Added this with staff discount from the Mrs and we have a cracking new washer for £330, just in time to replace a 20 year old dying Hotpoint
bought one of these a week ago from AO for about 409 using codes so this is a good price as long as the 5 year warranty is there.
Seems ok as that is not on the samsung list but most sites I've seen show the 5 year guarentee.
Just had a look at their website which shows the 5 year so all should be good.
Haven't had any problem with knocking etc and it was lighter and more stable then the one we had before.
