So visited Currys today they have this for £899.99 atm but no stock )-; said next week. Called Richer sounds also no stock mid/late Jan they said. Tried also JL no stock and not sure when. Would not let me buy then and there and put on order (I tried John Lewis, currys and Richer sounds).

i made the plunge about 2 weeks ago and in the end went to curry's store although had a problem with the £30 off code they finally honoured it in store, think i had the last one in the country!!! . Store said someone travelled to Swansea from London for one day before (really!) finally had it with Cable for about £923 so happy.
Now to the TV - out of the box fantastic . A mate bought the LG OLED 65 inch and yes it's an awesome TV but i've got to be honest i couldn't see any difference in the picture quality (don't shout at me!) and the price difference is massive. pound for pound i would recommend this TV.
Connectivity was a breeze and it picked up all my devices immediately. One HDMI cable from the small box to the TV (Love It) Sound is very good for a thin tv. Smart remote is fab. So far nothing negative and i am now able to watch my Local Swansea City being hammered in SUHD!

Purchased the Samsung 55KS7000 from John Lewis and the stutter and motion is truly dreadful on the set I've received, especially when watching ball sports but also just when news presenters and/or actors turn their heads for example. At worst it is every minute or so. After testing various settings, literally 100's of different variations based on recommended settings etc.. it has improved but there is definitely something amiss here. Many people rave about how good the tv is and how blown away they are by the picture quality whilst others seem to have problems. The version I have (found on the back of tv is 03) whereas others have 01 or 02. Can you get a bad batch of TV's?? Has the most recent version been rushed through to meet what is no doubt huge demand for this set after all the superb expert reviews?? Not sure if this has anything to do with it but I'll be seeking a replacement. The dilemma is to risk getting the same model and having similar problems or going for a different model/brand.

I keep seeing people mention this issue with Samsung tvs, it specific to theirs?
The majority say it's a great TV so not sure what to think! Maybe you can convert the signal somehow (such as through an av receiver) to get around the issue?

Well, I received my new 55KS7000 day before yesterday so thought I'd update for reference.
Electrical discount sent email confirmation on day of purchase advising that I would receive dispatch confirmation and then the courier would contact on the day of dispatch to arrange a delivery slot - All of the above went fine and the delivery guy was very pleasant and helpful - so 10/10 for Electricaldiscount.
So TV clearly new and untampered packaging etc - opened and easy to assemble with the One-connect helping a lot. The picture on SD is good although I'll be looking at some tweaks and the HD pic is tbh - excellent and almost 3dish sometimes!!! I'm very surprised the out of the box pic was so good. My previous spammy remote can be used with he new to (new one in drawer lol) and the Smart Remore is immense...You can tell the TV what to do (never expected that so nice + and the kids love it). The TV looks great and I'm really happy. My visit to the site has been recorded by TCB but has yet to track - Bonus if it does but if not I'm still VERY happy with my new TV

I got this a couple of weeks ago on the Currys 10% Quidco weekend, if cashback tracks and pays properly then I got mine for around £917.
No regrets though, the TV is amazing. I've seen no issues whatsoever thus far, despite what some people have experienced out of the box.

Since these TVs are so thin and light, theres literally hundreds you can choose from. Depends whether or not you want flat, slim, tilt, cantilever?

Hi there,
I was sorry to read your comments on the thread regarding your recent visit to our Leeds branch.
Customer service is our top priority so it’s obviously a concern to learn that you found the team in store unhelpful.
So that I may investigate the matter further and indeed resolve it would you be so kind as to PM me with your contact details?
Of course should any other forum user have had problems with a specific branch please feel free to PM me with the details.
Many Thanks

Also still contemplating hitting buy on one of these. Can't look past Richer Sounds from what I've read with regards warranty.
Am I right in thinking they will price match and beat by a small amount?

Yes they will price match. They did for me. Just pop in and ask them usually the competitor will need to also offer a 5 year warranty.

there warranty is really good. my 4.5yr old plasma developed a line 3wks ago paid £700 for the tv back then had a guy out checked it and offered me a choice of replacement with equivalent tv which was a chic between 2 4k tvs or £500 towards something else. Really good service in my experience. I went for the ue60ks7000

Been hovering over various "pay now" Paypal buttons for the last week and haven't pulled the trigger yet.
Can anyone vouch for these? Trustpilot gives it 5.9/10 which doesn't fill me with confidence... but I note they're google certified so there's always that to fall back on.
Best non-OLED set available though no doubt. 1000 nits, 10 bit, true HDR and fantastic performance on all levels -other than sound.

I used Pro Signal Pedestal Stand for 32 - 60-Inch LCD TV - from amazon (can't post links here?) on mine., comes with all the bolts you need (I used the medium bolts for the top and smaller size for the bottom as the tv as a slight currve on the back panel).
Received this a.m..
"Dear xxxxxxxxxx
Welcome to Domestic & General and thank you for choosing us for your led television Protection
Plan. Your documentation is enclosed..."
So that's the warranty - and because its a google accredited store you also get payment protection

Also, do they refresh their stock availability often? I feel like by the time I make an order, it'll say "In Stock" only to receive a message telling me there's no stock.

Sonic Direct to me is just like brick and mortar to me like walking into currys in Bradford.
tried a JL price match and they stated that don't price match online only or online with megastore.
But location should play a part in this as locally we have many retailers locally and most will price match as long as they are in stock and have a similar warranty.
Opening post
also 4.4% quidco bringing it to sub £900.
