Great find. This is as good as it's gonna get Black Friday wise. Big(ish) screen, 4K from a leading brand under £350
I agree with the consensus here that the Black Friday "steal" will be a 50-55" supposed 4K from a supermarket champion such as goodmans, bush, Polaroid etc for £150. Pointless
Or we all could be wrong and B&M stores might sell a OLED tv for a tenner. Stranger things have happened (please refer to Trump 2016 saga)

£300 I would of been like OK.

Thanks for posting. I’ve added the price and merchant to the title and moved to Audiovisual.
Here’s a ‘Help’ link which gives tips and advice on thread posting.

Seems like a great price. I've just ordered a grade A refurb of the slightly older ue40ku6000 from Ebay for £330. Looks like I pulled the trigger too quick, should have waited and got this instead!
Worth noting that for me (Northern Ireland) delivery with ebuyer is an extra £9.99.

I bought my Samsung 43euj500 from tesco direct via eBay 4/6 wks ago was a brand new customer return and only paid £269.99. So worth shopping about.

whats the difference between ku6000 and ku6020?

From the specs, I think the only difference is that the 6020 has bluetooth?
Great, was looking for a new Samsung TV as ours gave up the ghost the other week.

a few years ago the last 2 digits used to differentiate what kind of stand the tv had... like feet/flat silver/flat black base etc... i don't know about these days.

I am glad this deal has helped a few people out.
I still can't decide the best 40/43 inch 4K HDR TV under £400 to use for my PS4 Pro.
There is this model as well as the LG 43UH668V and the Philips 43PUS6401 which have all been discounted recently.

Have you considered this from Panasonic Outlet on EBay, it's a refurb but with warranty;
I'm looking for the same reason. I went to currys to but the LG and one of the staff gave me a heads up on this Samsung being on sale on black Friday. not sure how true this info is though.

hi can someone tell me if this is 8bit or 10bit hdr. I've tried finding out but not had any luck.

8 bit from what it says from the link provided by lutin

You're looking at spending 1k+ for a 10bit panel. This isn't even HDR this just accepts a HDR image but has nowhere near the brightness needed to display HDR.
1. Does 40" do justice to 4k or would I need to go bigger?
2. Does this have an audio input that allows me to plug in headphones?

Yes it's definitely 8 bit.

Cold for me, not curved.
Since buying a curved TV 12 months ago it has proven to be a life enhancing experience.

I don't think you'd get a curved TV for £350, would you?

Can't think of a better non-HDR TV for PS4 Pro at this kind of price. Size is perfect for a bedroom or desktop office gaming environment. Lag is just 22ms which puts this way ahead of anything by anyone else. £350 for a 4K screen, amazing.
Personally I use the KU6400, but the extras it has - like wider colour gamut - aren't used in gaming so this would be just as good.

is this ebuyer version of the SAMSUNG TV got the silver stand or black stand? Anybody get one from eBuyer?
Anybody use one with Xbox One S in 4K for movies or upscaled gaming?

It can accept the signals but it can't really render it - the panel is physically incapable of it.

I'm I missing something here?
Surely this SAMSUNG TV supports HDR.

Yes, please clarify.

8 bit HDR is 256 colour tones where as 10 bit is 1000+ so it only has a quarter of the colour range. I'm guessing that's what he means.
It will still be HDR just not full HDR. Much like 720 vs 1080.

Now down to £339.98. Slightly gutted as I already ordered it via Flubit for £335, could have saved another tenner!

Gee - I can't decide between this one and LG UH603V.
I'm thinking the LG will have better colour quality because of IPS but the Samsung one (VA) supports more file types and has Bluetooth..
Also webos seems nicer ..

SAMSUNG has down any day due to their panels. I find their panels superior. Even SONY uses their panels on some of their newly TVs.

Thanks for replying! So, VA panels are not necessarily worse.. and the colours will be alright ..
I think I'm going for samsung. See what the fuss is all about.
