Very tempted to get this to replace my aging iPad three. Just a bit short right now. Hope this comes up at a similar price after Christmas.

Any update on how to get the price down using vouchers at Currys please? To £125

You need to get a time-machine and find some previous cashback deals to use in conjunction with some employer benefit vouchers and hope currys start doing home delivery again.

After researching, this model is not compatible with the S pen. That would be the SM-P580

Ordered, wonder if you can use smart notebook on these. I was at the school the other night and the application looked cool. Maybe use the s pen or does anyone know a similar application?

Be alert on the numbers available, this has been out of stock several times.
Doesn't seem likely given that it's for a 8.4" tablet.
There is one for the 10.1" Tab A on Amazon for £6.90 which has good reviews

Thanks, but as this deal apparently goes on until midnight on Monday I think I'll wait and see if any other offers come up.

Does anyone know if we can use the S pen with this and if so, which one to buy? There is also a 10.1" tab A model that comes with the S pen.

I reserved a white one for collection in Currys this AM, but I'm after black... what affect does skipping your collection result in, do they they forget about it? I've not paid anything :smirk:

Don't worry about not collecting it if you've not paid yet.
If you don't collect they just return the item to the stock room in a few days but chances are even if you where to collect they would have cocked up your order.
100% definitely buy it from John Lewis instead of them chimps at pc world.

This is a much better tablet, better screen, faster cpu, double the memory, in this price range the samsung cannot be beaten

Was going to buy this from Currys yesterday then thought I'd wait for Cyber Monday to see if any other deals might go on. Anyone know if there's likely to be any further discounts on tablets to those there have already been?

Buy it, don't open it for a day or 2 and take it from there, you can always return the product.

Parents in law are about to buy a Lenovo Tab 3...this one...
I am not really up on Android tablets. Can see this is a bit faster, and screen is a bit higher res...so assume given they are the same price, this one comes more highly recommended?
Any pointers would be good please? Thanks

The thing with branded tablets and phones (to be honest mostly all products) is the sell on factor, you could buy and use this for a year or so and still get a good return if you were to sell.
The lenovo' etc price value drops off a cliff.

A decent 10 inch tablet for the price. Way better than the Lenovo ones. Most reviews are positive (clicky) so I am really considering this!
