In the run up to Black Friday, UK retailer Carphone Warehouse has launched four days of "black tag" sales, with substantial discounts on some high-end phones — as well as some older models — both on contract and SIM-free.
The deals expire at midnight UK time on Thursday (as in 12 a.m. Friday morning), so hit up the link below to check 'em out.
Quick advice for everyone who is thinking of purchasing from Carphone Warehouse.
DON'T... if you have the option to buy from John Lewis instead for the same price. (and i'm not even talking about extended warranty which is a another benefit) but purely because "Sim Free" phones from Carphone Warehouse or anywhere else will get LOCKED to the first sim you put in... BUT from John Lewis is a FACTORY UNLOCKED phone so you can put in any different sim you like as many times as you want. No locking to any network provider.
Your Welcome!

Here's hoping so...but I doubt anyone without one of these below will know the answer yet
Is probably a deal, but a phone that is about 8 months old for more than 500...and is the same Android OS in there... well.. the LG G5 deal is much more attractive for just sacrifice a bit of hardware specs but saving you £200+

No, but the screen will crack when you drop it. I'm surprised apple didn't think of this gimmick.

Are you sure
In the past all phones from cpw were unlocked as they just have the phones in stock and just grab a sim. I know the newer phones people say lock to first sim but I was under impression cpw were fully unlocked like Apple.
As for service I'd deffo go with JL over cpw any day

How long has this been the case for. My nexus 5 and my wife's s6 were purchased from carphone and we've changed mobile networks without issue.

absolutely amazing phone.....got it in sexy silver  got mine on contract though....more palatable for me then forking out over 50quid in one go.....shame they messed up on the note 7 as tat would have been the ideal replacement for my note 4.....
