Can you cast from your phone/tablet without an internet connection on the wifi. I know the Chromecast needs internet to work, so for my situation is useless. I don't seem to be able to find my answer online.

Am I reading this right? The picture says delivery 10-14 days for the stick and the codes for the films only last for 48 hours after activation which has to be done by tomorrow. How will you be able to watch them without the stick? I realise you can watch them on pc,laptop, phone etc. But if I don't have a smart TV, which would be why anybody would be buying this how do I watch it on my TV?
