nice to have somebody for once posting the price without the 5% off, seeing at that's a one-time discount (unless you use multiple email addresses or a similar workaround)

which DLC packs are worth getting?

None unless you particularly fancy one of the car designs and want to support the developers.

Well you don't have to buy any of them. it won't affect the gameplay or availability of game modes.
All the paid in-game DLC is cosmetic. e.g. car packs and keys for opening crates which contain skins, cars, boosts, wheels etc.
So it's down to each player's preference. I started by buying one or two cheap car packs I liked, but have since bought a lot of the DLC because I've wanted to support the developers of the game I have played so much.
All additional core gameplay content like game modes and maps are free and have been added to the core game so far.
The updates are really regular too. Really active community too, so you'll be able to play any online game mode at any time of day no problem.
I bought it at £14.99 a year ago, over the year that followed I've maybe spent another £14.99 on DLC. Over the 500 hours I've spent in the game.. I think its safe to say that I'm content with my investment.

If you're not into cosmetics, none.
That's the beauty of this game, no DLC is necessary as all cars perform (speed wise) exactly the same - only difference is hit-boxes.
I personally like and downloaded Supersonic Fury, I prefer the Dominus hit-boxes to most other cars.

Best game ever.
The only issue I can potentially see is the devs tinkering. They need to be content with their masterpiece and just leave the game alone.
They should keep the pitch standard. However teams football stadiums would be fun DLC.

Finally a well priced world class game comes out, with lots of nice DLC that costs only a few quid and doesnt completely change/ruin the game
Fantastic game, I would happily pay 30 quid for it, if you dont own it for 6, its a crime

Agreed - also with the earlier comment, I have mostly all the DLC, just mostly to support the devs - even bought *ahem* a "few" keys and I normally HATE in game purchases! (Love my Dominus GT though...)

My son plays nothing else and he has plenty of alternatives. I quite enjoy watching him play and giving him stick for doing riskier ariel moves when they don't come off.

Bought it during this week without even knowing it was posted here.
Still, good deal!

Is this the actual game?
Do you send a code to my e-mail and I activate the code on steam?
