Compact enough to fit on a desktop, and so quiet it goes unnoticed, the Ricoh SP 211 Mono Laser Printer is the ideal A4 black-and-white printer for small and home offices. It’s remarkably easy to use with all operations from the front of the device. And with its fast print speed of 22 pages per minute, it won’t keep you waiting for its crisp, professional quality print-outs. To top it off, a low power consumption and a high-yield, all-in-one print cartridge can significantly cut costs.
The Ricoh SP211 Mono Laser Printer does not work with MAC or Linux it only works with Windows Environments.

Well done OP for mentioning it doesn't work with Mac. Still a great deal for a Windows machine.

Bought it cheaper than this and toner ran out in the first week. Think i only printed out less than 30 pages. Thought it was a defect as printer refused to print but support said I needed a replacement toner cartridge. Shocked when I saw toner replacements costing ~£20 on ebay so have stuck with alternative printer for half the cost. It makes for a perfect foot rest though

Starter toner should have lasted 700 pages did you not argue with supplier/Ricoh?

it might be happen when you used the by-pass tray and the printer still in that setting, try press the 'job reset' buttons if not success do it over again and again, it happened to me like that before.

Toner lasted me ages so maybe you got a dodgy one? I refilled with the Ebay DIY kit (which was easy to replace) for roughly £15 and it has lasted well over a year now, easily over 1,000 pages. I own the SP 201n but I think the toners are the same.
This is a great printer, bargain.

I bought the wireless version for £30 last time it was on offer, use it for printing sheets of address labels. Aligns the labels VERY well, way better than the Canon inkjet I had before. The ink can rub off the labels a bit but otherwise it's great.
I could never get it to work with the old WiFi router I have but that didn't really bother me and people might have more luck with newer kit. I might buy a replacement one of these just for the toner cartridge though because the official ones are expensive.

I would suggest that running costs a brother is a better option
Had a similar Ricoh 2 years ago. Couldn't get it to work on my network via an adaptor. Toners are expensive. I bought a second hand colour Laserjet CP1515n for £60 with nearly new toners that last forever on override and have never looked back.

That is my one gripe, I have this printer wired via ethernet and every time I unplug the machine I have to re-install the drivers. It was also tricky to set up via ethernet.

I have on of these, had it over a year, I'm not a heavy user but my ink cartridge is still going strong, I can only suggest that woldraider was treated very badly. I haven't had any problems with it whatsoever.

Had one of these and it developed a fault before the first toner ran out and it ended up at the local dump.
