Pack of 3 Redex (both diesel and petrol available) only £4.50 @ Tesco.
Some people say it's a myth, some otherwise, but I can personally say it's made the world of difference to my diesel.

I dont like it when they say "full tank"
E.g:
A Peugeot 106 diesel is 45 litre tank
A Ford Mondeo diesel is a 70 litre tank.
Thats quite a big difference for the same measure...

Just looked on redex website:
So if you have a larger car with a big fuel tank, i'd be tempted to put 2 shots/doses in the tank. (or just fill it to 50 litres)
Interesting also, that they class 90ml as one shot, yet they say that 250ml contains 2 shots (125ml/shot).
Someone at Redex isnt too good with maths lol.

its paraffin very expensive paraffin and all it does is raise the octane level so burns hotter

how many ml in each bottle and what is recommended ml/litre ratio to be used?

Each bottle is 250ml. Not sure on the ratio to be used but the general guidance is 125ml/full tank. There's lines on the side of the bottle to mark the measurements

No I agree with you, I guess it's based on an average tank size. I'm sure there is a real proportion somewhere, I'm just reading what's on the pack.

Worth a try at that price I suppose. What's the difference between the petrol ones?

Was on a SEL, not 'reduced to clear' so assuming nationwide.

Does this stuff actually do anything decent though ? Serious question btw

I wouldn't worry, it won't do anything anyway. Redex does jack ****.
You're best putting a litre of paint thinners (not white spirit) in the tank this will clean the engine and all the sensors. That expensive can of 'carb cleaner' is nothing but thinners under pressure, in a can. And contrary to popular belief will not destroy any seals.

I put a whole bottle in every 3 months or so in my 75 litre transit, never had any problems in 250,000 miles but cant say if it works or not as I dont know if I would have had any problems if I hadnt used it....I do 1000 miles a week

I used this recently. 1.9 Astra which was around 38-41 mpg average on my daily commute, after using this it dropped to 30mpg average

I would strongly advise using this on any car over 5 years old, as it removes those ''harmful'' deposits which are actually not at all harmful but rather they keep the engine seals intact as these go brittle overtime, by using this product you wash away all this healthy gunk and grease deposits.

I use this the day before my MOT and blast down the M4 a mile or two...apparently it gets the exhaust emissions reading down.
The first time I went to Halfords for my MOT in my old Fiat Punto...the tester actually put some redex in, gave it a blast and then passed the emission test...I have always used it ever since, afraid not to now lol. Anyone know if this deal is available in Cardiff please ?

I personally wouldn't use this stuff on anything modern. The complex fuel injection systems cars have these days shouldn't be messed with. If your car is running fine leave it alone.

try wynn injector cleaner or fuel system cleaner. its the best i think
