Found in my local poundshop but I believe it is a national deal!
They fit 12 inch records! I think it's a bargain! Record Album Frame - LP Frames As vinyl is becoming more and more collectible, why not display your precious LP's in the best way possible with our Record Album Frame! Either slip in the whole record sleeve or just the record itself to create your own personal wall of fame. If you have a love of music, display it loud and proud on your wall

I know this is a really strange question but I was wondering if anyone who has purchased one of these would be able to weigh it and tell me how much it weighs....would greatly appreciate it if anyone could?

Going to go to town on the vinyl when Sainsburys do their double nectar points promo in a weeks time - so long as vinyl is classed as entertainment.

Next time Tesco's or other Supermarkets have a Father's Day Special Vinyl Sale amuse yourself for part of the day by asking the youngsters where the 'Records' are or if they sell 'Vinyl'. Hilarious responses. I really should get out more!!

I'm sure that's a joke, but it is crazy how his music became a taboo and just vanished. I understand why, just the reality of it is so odd. His Christmas song was one of my favourites as a kid, but you never hear it anymore.

Roman Polanski seems to be forgiven a lot as well, and Woody Allen. It's a tricky one, all the more so where the art and artist are inextricably linked (which is especially the case with popular music).

For significant birthdays research the number one album from their birth date, buy iton ebay, frame it, and get a little engraved bit of brass (from ebay) and put that on the front with the date, album name and a message. Always goes down a storm as something thoughtful and original.

Not just the 70s. I think art/music/culture should stand up on its own merits. People seem to manage this for Alice in Wonderland.

Any nice wooden ones anywhere ? The Ikea ones are a black plastic, and the ones in The Range, whilst the right size, with room for a nice border around, are too deep (as they are more 'box' frames).

I bought one of these from Poundland today to try out and they are not suitable for album covers as firstly the aperture is slightly too big leaving a gap around the cover and secondly the rebate is at the front of the frame and not the rear, so leaving no room at the back to fit in.
The frames would be ok to display the actual vinyl as shown in the picture but not the cover.
The
"Either slip in the whole record sleeve or just the record itself to create your own personal wall of fame. If you have a love of music, display it loud and proud on your wall "
Is rather misleading as it's for a completely different frame
The frames that therealclaireh showed are the same as i also already have and do fit the purpose for displaying covers.

How to the Poundland ones compare to the FMAG ones in appearance? I have 17 FMAG ones on display already, but have some nice 12 inch picture discs I'd like to display, but only if they look very similar...?

Literally useless, unless you've got a photocopy of a record sleeve. Yes, it's 12" square, but it's too thin front-back. There's not enough clearance to fit a sleeved record, not even enough to squish just the sleeve in. A 12" record is bigger than A3, so unless you're going to get two A3 photocopies and try to join them, you need an A2 copy, which is rare and expensive.

These are great, I print covers at work and have them around the flat. Look really good hung up
Interesting article on that very point here. Can't help but think though that if the 70s music scene was investigated in more depth there would be loads more bands airbrushed out of history.

can it fit 12" single covers and does it have a plastic "pane" or is it just a black frame and cardboard backing with no front to protect the sleeve/record?
