I have been shopping around for this seat for a while, but not found it as cheap as this. RRP is £160.
The code is BABYGC16 which takes £15 off the price. Find the black model under 'other sellers' for £97, rather than the main seller which is £135. Then apply the code.
I am aware that someone has already posted the non-isofix model for the same price, but the Seatfix model is usually £30+ more expensive. It may be a pricing error. But I can't imagine Amazon not fulfilling it.
Currently out of stock, but order now and they will deliver when it comes back in stock for this price.

I found some time to call Amazon this afternoon and they point blank refused to honour the deal. They explained that the supplier had advised them the stock would be available from the 24th Dec which is why they added it to the website however the supplier then further advised the stock wasn't going to be available and hence they cancelled the orders.
When reminded that when the cancellations arrived the website was showing stock so the story above doesn't stack up. They then argued it was a delay on the website - Yeah right.
I asked for a Manager and the surly sounding assistant transferred me. The Manager thought she had it covered and argued it wasn't even possible to change the price, they didn't have that function available to them. So I asked to be transferred to someone in the company that did have that authority as I knew from reading online that it had been done for others. She protested it was not at all possible and a Manager would tell me the same but I insisted on taking it up with the more senior Manager. She said she would transfer me and after a delay came back and said the Manager was busy and I would have to hold for longer (no problem they called me!!) until a Manager was free and then took the opportunity to tell me it still wasn't going to happen, it was impossible to change the price or to price match.
A further period of holding and she comes back asking if I could make the purchase whilst on the phone and they would correct the price once I had made the purchase - Bingo, job done.
Moral of the story, stick to your guns, they've acted improperly and they know it.

Does anybody have any specific recommendations for a 101cm (3.75yr old) moving from a harnessed seat to this? I have no concerns over her escaping (not her style) but I am concerned about her falling asleep, how can I:
-Safeguard against her falling asleep and the seat belt being incorrectly positioned (i.e over her neck or her slumping forwards?
-How much does this seat recline (obviously assists the above point)?
-Does anybody have a decent seatbelt pad, or assistant like BeltUpp? Would you recommend it?
I'm keen to ensure she's as comfortable as possible. Thanks!

Thank you all for letting me know that is was a farce! I did a chat session with Amazon, and explained I wanted the price honoured as I could see they were not discontinued at all, and were back in stock on 24th Dec. They have agreed to honour that price of £82.20. So I had to purchase it at the current price, and then send him the reference number of my order, then he amended the price to the £82.20. Fantastic! It should be here in a few days :innocent:

I rang Amazon and originally got nowhere but when asking to speak to a supervisor and a 25 minute debate over wether or not it was a naughty rip off she applied a £36 goodwill gesture and with the online promotion was applied at the checkout i got it for £90.95

Unless that's the price you originally paid I'd push for the extra. It was a farce, the whole thing.
I have no idea how I managed to get it £20 cheaper (£62) than my original purchase price, other than the £5 credit for inconvenience that was applied to my account the £15 is a mystery.

We received email from Amazon today to say it was not coming back into stock so they have cancelled the order, but if you search the item on the Amazon website it is coming back into stock on Saturday, 24 December at twice the price. I phoned Amazon customer services and complained and they let me re-order it at today's price and will refund the difference back to the discounted price once they dispatch it. Hope this helps you if you didn't receive your order.

Hi, OP here :o) This seat isn't suitable for a 1 year old. My daughter who this is for has been rear facing until just recently in an Extended Rear Facing BeSafe Seat. She is now almost 4 years old, and still in the BeSafe seat but now FF. She will be going in to this Recaro seat shortly, and hopefully it will last her for many years.
Definitely have a look at some extended rear facing options. Joie Stages is what we used as a spare for childminders/grandparents cars etc. This seat lasts for many years, as it can rear face up to 15kg (3-4 years), and then turns in to a FF high back booster. Joie Stages is very reasonably priced and easy to manoeuvre between cars, as it's belted in.
