This is what i have been doing over the last year, trading in my discs if i can get the game really cheap on digital, and this collection deserves to be on your HDD at all times just ready to play.

New to Xbox, do you have to have continual membership of Gold for this to continue to work? For instance membership expires will game not work, or is Gold just required to purchase at reduced price.

No if you purchase a game when it is on offer through the gold discount then you keep the game 100%

I bought this the other year but the only good game was Nuts and Bolts, crazy just how dated everything else was now... other than that the only thing I would be interested in is Goldeneye with online.

Can you use xbox live trials to get the discounts?

To my knowledge you won't get the dis
counts with the 48 hr trials. However there are or used to be 1 month cards that you could use that would.

Digital is often cheaper I have found. If you gameshare with a friend to half the price and then buy XBOX credit for cheap from ebay or CDkeys you can seriously drop the price of games. Time all this with deals with gold and you are laughing.

The thing with Rare Replay apart from one or two games it is most definitely a five minute before work kinda chill session. BF1 and Guitar Hero Live currently occupy my disc drive - even that I'm not happy about!

Certainly that's the case with a lot of the games, but there are a lot more than "one or two" more substantial ones - nearly everything from the N64 generation onwards.

I suppose so. But i could never stomach playing the Banjo/Perfect Dark games any more than 10 - 15 minute chunks as much as I loved them, and games like Conker are more a beat in one sitting kind of game (to me anyways). I do wish they'd chucked the Viva Pinata party game into the Replay. That game was brilliant

This is well worth it just for jet force gemini, conkers bad fur day, banjo tooie and kazzoie, perfect dark, and perfect dark zero. Also, if you're an achievement hunter/uuhore then easy GS - points just to play the game. Video docs are interesting too.

Each to their own :stuck_out_tongue:Banjo-Kazooie and Perfect Dark are absolute classics IMO (and yes, I've backed Yooka-Laylee:smile:)
