My local Coop doesn't stock this product range but I found this deal in Golders Green (Childs Hill). It might or might not be national.

Sorry about that. I searched for "Quaker oats" on HUKD before posting and this specific deal didn't come up  I may have accidentally ended up on the merchant page.
Still new to HUKD website

Convenience, just like sliced cheese etc.
Plus people at my work can't be trusted not to spill things all over the bloody floor :P

In Lidl, they were probably "The Quackers Oats Quite Easy Large Bowl Genuine" brand, not Quakers :smirk:

Never understood why you can't just get a 1kg bag of oats for 80p and use that for porridge.
Effectively 3x the price for 1kg even when on 'offer'

I've wondered this too but I'm sure there is a reason. Do the sachets cook more quickly? Or are they fortified like cereal unlike a bag of oats? Or just easier?

I stocked up with various flavours when Morrison's had them for £1 recently. I always add sultana's and any fruit on top that I have at the time. Morrison's are back over £2 now, but one of the Pound world type shops also used to sell them for £1.
It is worth stocking up when they are this price, you don't have to eat them every day!

I only buy original ones and put stevia. The syrup ones are full of sugar so no health benefits. Voted hot
