Madness is my Method.
There are a few important things I need to say before you crack into my insanely sweet game. (Oof. Here we go again.) I'm a mercenary with an accelerated healing factor. Ive been described as unstable, which is just plain coo-coo. (Wait, do sane people say coo-coo?) I'm gonna battle for the safety of humans and mutants. (And even mumans.) Be prepared for just about anything. (Holla!) I made sure to capture all my good sides, so I made my game a third-person action-shooter. (Yep, you get to look at my heinie.)
Keep a look out cuz some of my X-Men pals (Whoa, what pals?!) are making an appearance. (Hope you don't mind picking hair out of your tacos.)
I'm really good at killing, so I made it a blast stringing together combos, and totally eviscerating my enemies. (Ev-is-cer-a-ting!)
I brought my skills and a buttload of my favorite things. Katanas (check), guns (bang!) explosives (boom), duct tape (quack) and of course, yours truly - ME! (Checkmate!)
I thought the film was great! Oh it's you Buzz, you don't like anything, do you?
The gameplay isn't very good in the game, the dialogue however, that's another story.

One of the worst, most buggy games I've ever bought. Wouldn't play it if you paid me.

First Class was Fox... Spider-Man is Sony. Marvel is Marvel. Educate people.

The film was good for a Marvel project but that's not saying much, the game's painfully average.

Xmen First Class is still the best "Marvel" film out there... And it was helmed as a Sony project.

It was Fox not Marvel...

Absolutely love the comics but the game was your standard 3rd person brawler-slash-shooter that's trotted out for the majority of superhero / comic games - Spawn, all the Spider-Man games, the Hulk / Thor / Iron Man tie-ins... without the Deadpool humour this would be barely distinguishable.
The only two franchies I can recall playing in relatively recent times that have managed to buck this trend are the Arkham series and the excellent Punisher game on PS2 which both included clever gameplay mechanics which embraced the character's traits and abilities.

All of you haters...you just made the list!
But seriously, gameplays basic, short and not really worth more than a fiver for a single play through. Humour is in line with the source so if you dont care for the comics or didn't like the movie (you heathens) there's not much else here.

It's superb. Great soundtrack, strong cast, likeable characters. Probably the one I had the lowest expectations of (maybe apart from the Fantastic 4 reboot, justifiably) but it surprised me just how good it is.

Winter Soldier is good, but not quite as good as First Class... Although it's definitely the best project that's been helmed under Marvel's direction.
Interesting how they're both the better examples though, especially as they're both very much like "Dark Knight" in terms of tone.

I enjoyed the film but this game was released originally on 360 and ps3 a few years ago sio nothing to do with the film. The dialogue in the game is corny but funny, the gameplay is meh and was never worth the full price they asked for this. Still the cheapest its been so heat added

I'm partial to the occasional showing of Bargain Hunt and quite possibly Coronation Street at a push. Evidently my viewing habits are a tad higher class than yours :smirk:
