I really want to get into this but am I too late to the party? By the way people are talking I'll assume it's still very active online?

The Collection Upgrade on PS4 is £32.99.. this is the "special offer" price to those that originally bought it on PS3.
What a joke. This is a way better deal, thanks OP.

How much extra content in terms of hours is all the DLC?

Uhh... Well I've played about 1500 hours in total so far since release......
In all seriousness though you won't be putting in much time for the first few expansions now. The older content up until Taken King is pointless as it gives items can not be used in current end game content so you're probably not going to touch any of that apart from to experience it once or twice (rarely anyone else runs). So it's pretty much just the newest expansion you'll be benefiting from and putting most of your time into. If you just want to play through everything once and dabble around you won't put many hours in (more than most games though) if you however want to put in the effort to do everything and max out there's easily 100s of hours there.

The disc has the original destiny game on and all the DLC codes for the expansions.
Basically when you have downloaded all the DLC's using the codes you are left with a copy of the original Destiny game and that's it

is this a dlc code or is it on the disc?

It will be like taken king a code as all the DLC is downloaded in updates so a bit pointless and a waste of time and money to put it on disc

Just spoke to a mate and he said the Rise of Iron pack on its own is £25 on Psn , might go for that to be honest as they already have all the other destinys / expansions

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I cant play Titanfall 2 either. When I talk about this people look at me like I've got two heads.
Except PC players who just helpfully advise me to spend £1500 so I can get a FOV slider on more games.
